I'm getting tons of prehistoric-style ideas from this.
Are the fronds strong enough to support a mini right there next to the trunk?

Ah, that is your secret project, Satrek, right ? Right order: publish first, then demonstrate. . Good textures. It has something very archaic, indeed. Something Lovecraftian could be played as well. I wonder, if this could also be the foundation of some modular buildings - with very sturdy columns to hold wall parts !?

That's a wicked looking tree Satrek.

Thanks everyone! paladin: one of them, yes - or should I say the first one to make it that far . I have several ideas of future add-ons, but they need more time to hatch. As for stability, I con't know how stable the branches really are, all I can say is that they work fine with paper miniatures, and with plastic minis (Wizards) as long as things don't get too crowded. I have no idea when it comes to metal minis, I don't own any I'm afraid.
