Thanks! Looks like I'm too late for it to be free, but I'll put it on my list.
I just finished his Ancient World entrance piece, love the looks (although it's kinda hard to do a model without cutfiles these days...).

Did anyone find/make cut files for this (and other Lord Zsezse) model yet?
Would this be the right place to share it if I made one?

That would be awesome to make a cut file for his stuff (he might even like to include it with his models). I would suggest putting them in the " Automated Cutting Files" Section however.

Actually, by "here", I meant on the Cardboard Warriors forums (vs. some other place that Lord Zsezse might prefer - I've sent a mail asking this question via their web site as wel.. Frankly, the rigid WWG policy about cutfiles has me a bit spooked and wondering where we robocutter fans can gather our files...

I can see where Denny is coming from with his stance on conversions since I'm a publisher myself. He doesn't want to harm his own market. That being said, I see no problem with posting JUST the cut files of a set whether paid or not. As long as the original copyrighted file is not posted it should only help sales. The issue comes in when the original pdf has elements outside the cut area for these cutters and require a new layout. Then you would have to repost the new PDF somewhere and that could lessen the incentive to purchase the original. If your new cut files don't require a modified PDF, feel free to post them in the " Automated Cutting Files" Section. I could see some sets requiring an 'empty PDF' to put the registration marks on the printed set and that would be fine to post with the cut files but just no copyrighted works. I'd think it would be great to have a collection of cut files for the various models. I believe it would be very useful to this community since most of us have purchased many of these sets.

Reposting copyrighted material is a no-no, whether to help with cut files or whatnot. Currently most paper minis and models I buy come in a layout that fits both A4 and letter paper to accomodate for more users. If a publisher cares about customers with automated cutters, then making a layout that works with them should be their concern. Otherwise, too bad, each person with a cutter will have to roll their own (unable to share as the cutfile alone won't be much help if the layout had to be edited) and maybe ask the publisher to make cutter-friendly layouts.

I just got mail from Lord Zsezse - they'd never heard of GSD files! So, I guess they won't mind.
As for "not cut file compatible art", I believe in the threshold of goodenough:
I'll make a cut-file for anything without modding the original work, even if some of it is outside the cut-area. That's never more than 1-2% of the cutting and I for one appreciate the 99% help a user-cutfile gives me.
Honestly, importing the bitmap and sliding it around in Studio until it lines up with someone's best effort to minimize out-of-cut-area vectors is way less work than cutting (or making my own cut template) from scratch!
In short, I've not found a complex pdf/png model that couldn't be helped by someone creating a cutfile for it.
Printing from within Studio is not as feature-rich as from Adobe Acrobat X Pro - but completely worth the awkwardness if I get perfect registration marks on a previously un-marked model.

Not sure why any publisher would object to a cutfile that doesn't include copyrighted material. I surely wouldn't, so long as everyone respects the designer's wishes. (And that megalithic circle set is really fine!)
