I see there are a few older threads on the subject, however I'd like to see if anyone is trying anything different.
Do you spray / paint your paper minis with anything to extend their life?

The spray version. Does not melt the ink, and you may decide what you want: thin layer = rough surface thick layer (or multiple passages) = strong and glossy finish. Pretty expensive, to me..... and i guess it is only italian.

I use matt spray varnish..... I use magnetic bases, so I just attach all of my figures to a steel ruler and spray. Works a treat, as PArduz says the more layers you apply the glossier the finish. Not so important if you laser print though as that is pretty much waterproof anyway (except for large areas of white nad the cut edges).

Put piece of wide clear tape over the top before you cut them out. make sure when you pull the tape of the roll you don't get a stop line (for a better word) you want a fully clear piece. I tried out 7 different spray brands at one point all did something to the paper. Now I just reprint and recut

I've also tired cut and pasting models to 4x6 prints and then had them printed at the local 1hr photo. It takes a lot longer for the glue to dry properly, but the models are exceptionally durable.
