I've been looking at the new cameo template and old SD one as I'll need to generate anew cut files for the UFO shortly. Would doing an upside generation of the rego marks help ie Both seem to need 3 corners if you have the top edge as the bottom for one and the bottom as the top for the other couldn't you just save two .studio files one, one way up and the other the other way up, for each machine. This would save the need to have layers for each rego mark type which if others are anything like me I'm bound to print the wrong thing. Heres an example: I've checked the new template on my SD and it works fine does anyone have a new Cameo they could do a test on and see if feeding it in the other way and running the cameo cut file works as I hope. Sorry I used pirate bears . Pdf Attached on this post Attachments:

I can't test your sheet, since I don't have the Cameo, but I had another thought. With version 2.2 of the Studio software, there is a registration style setting of "Auto" available. I *think* it lets the software choose which to look for based upon which machine is attached. (I hope to have confirmation of this shortly.)
If it does work that way, it would give us the option of including registration marks for each machine on separate layers of a pdf. Two options that way, depending on the creator's preferences.
*keeping fingers crossed*

Yes I contemplated the layering thing, then remembered the number of times I had the wrong layers turned on when printing some of Dave and Tom's stuff. Then theres the issue of not having access to a pdf layer tool myself, I have to hit a friend up to make the file for me, fine for the odd thing but not so great if it turns into an everyday thing....hope that bugs fixed in Scribus soon. Glad you've been working on the issue longer pblade

I just heard back from a Cameo user, and files created with the "Auto" setting work. It won't make it any easier to create the original PDF, but you won't need to make 2 cut files at least.
