Hope Adam doesn't mind but I swiped his comment from the CA thread as it raised an interest point
Would it be handy to have stuff pre-laid out in 6x4 format? How many others use Adam's trick for mini's? I can see forsuckering introducing new people to card mini's it is easier if you say to them you don't need a printer just run down to your local camera photo shop and print these handy pre-configured and photo sized png/jpg's at 6x4.
The outlay then is much less, I know downunder when they do sales you get 6x4s for 5/10 cents each, $1 would virtually outfit a whole army or a bunch of critters for roleplaying. Most people like things to be easy and relaying stuff out is a little painful.
Looking at my fur and buttons stuff I could do 4 mini's to a 6x4 on average.
Thoughts on going in tihs direction? I know for myself I like to make my stuff as easy for people to use as possible. using the above method even those younger with no access to a printer and potentially grumpy parents could then more easily use my stuff by simply running them off at photo place using pocket money etc.
I know as a teen my parents would have gone nuts if I'd used up all the ink in the dot matrix printer, printing stuff.
edit: i should say if i did do the above as an extra option I'd still do full page versions as well.
I use the 1 hour photo a lot to print to 4x6. The paper is much more durable, but yeah you can't really glue it the same way. I haven't tried superglue, but I've found that putting a layer of Super Tacky Craft Glue on both sides and then lighting it dry until it's gummy before pressing it together works.
