It is, papersolders.ucoz.ru/ , a great russian ( or ukrainian, I don't know ) site/forum about paper figures ( paper soldiers and minis ) that I found while looking for other Kimerlin's figures ( cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=kimerlin ) It reminds me a little our forum in russian language. But it is easy read it with a translator. And it is too big, for me, to tell you about all figures here. There is a little shop with some napoleonic figures' sheets. A free download section. But the best is in the forum. In each section there are something, many works, good or very good. Always. From many users/artists. Kimerlin, Col., Sergey Marchenko ( I don't find his site ) ... and many others. ... Lunik!!! sorry Lunik ;D And don't forget the last sub-forum, with the contest section. There are very nice works. Some examples: Ancient Germans B/W Hurons from PaperGeneral WW2 Germans Templars Crusaders ( ) Russians ( ) from Kimerlin Wonderful ninjas from Kimerlin napoleonics ( Col. ) ... And many others. Original works are in the gallery section or clicking, in the forum ( the russian forum, not this ), on pics. They are linked to original size images.

The Napoleonics are beautiful. Nice to see Russians available. Makes me want to break out my Russian books and brush up.

I could be wrong (I often am, you know), but I think that the "Crusaders" may be KIMERLIN's! They look EXACTLY like the figures he does, even down to the bases.
He IS Russian, after all. I could be wrong, though...

I must admit that I haven't been there in a while, but I am sad to hear it may be going away.

Not great. "Very" great project and very great works.
Fortunately I found even this project's older works.
Tomoko is a great artist and a great enthusiast about paper figures.
I am sad because many very good jobs will be lost, with the passage of time, in network's dark and abandoned places. Many good works lost, many people will not know existence of these works ...
Would be very nice to create/do an international collective ( no policy implication in my words ;D ) of paper figures' fans to be able to exchange informations and possibly some works.

... Err ... this is what we all do on CBW!? We do it. But because we seek on other forums on other sites, your other blogs. And probably other people search/look here. But there are no any direct contacts. The mmediate information from other authors/users.

used to be an international site, but now all the past achievements are lost. and creating a new international web site will be very difficult again to gather all together. PS. Bonus ))) Vampire lord, created by Tomoko
