I completely agree with cowboyleland if you want to go the RPG route. I'd also suggest Weird West, a US$1, 7-page RPG. Very simple but well-thought in my opinion. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=91122If what you want is more of a miniature skirmish, Akula's Rules is a quick, simple and free game. If I remember correctly it was created for a large table at a convention but it might work for what you need. akulasrules.blogspot.com/

"A Fistful of Zombies" "All Flesh Must be Eaten" supplement. Weird West? What rules? Its like half of basic OD&D ported to wild west. 2 Hour Wargames rules would be good, or The Rules With No Name, or Blaze of Glory

I apologize for a quick off-topic comment: ... Weird West? What rules? Its like half of basic OD&D ported to wild west. ... Interesting point of view. In my opinion, Weird West belongs to the group of modern games that emulate the "old school RPG style" but I can't dismiss it as a simple clone of OD&D. Maybe it could be described as OD&D distilled to its core by dropping ability scores and using a set of action-related attributes instead. Warrior, Rogue & Mage distills OD&D by making attributes out of the "core" classes. Neither approach is obvious to me and I do believe both required a lot of playtesting to reach a playable state. Ok, now back on topic, there's also Zombie Squad, another free, rules-lite RPG. I think it would work better in a "zombie survival" adventure or short campaign but who knows? paratime.ca/zombie/index.html
