OK, encouraged by Kiladecus I'd like to present incoming new set: EASY 2.5D RUINS! There will be couple of easy to cut and assemble ruins (well - in fact there will be no assembling - just glue together A & B sides and bend wall and that's all!). All ruins will be at least in 2 version: day and night (more darkish, with moonlight on it) Plus there will be a lot of parts / components which might be used for building your very own ruins - like basements/foundations, doors, various windows, banners, wall shields with emblems, some stones/rocks and grass which might be added for diversifying etc. To complete the picture - I'm going to add also 60mm version of basic ruins - so you could scale down and print desired size without any waste of quality. I'm also considering adding sheets filled with pure textures - so you could design/draw and cut out your own / needed wall size and shape... what's your opinion, would it be usefull? Set is almost ready - so far there is 16 sheets, although in finalversion it should be 18 or 20. Anyway some final corrections could be needed - so probably no chances for sunday release I was hoping for. LOL... I got already cover and some previews ready but... forgot about instructions, plus some photos would be also good idea... In the meanwhile some previews: BTW: is "Props" a correct word or it's some kind of specific jargon?

Looking good Mesper! BTW: is "Props" a correct word or it's some kind of specific jargon? Prop is jargon. It's short for "theatrical property", which is what all the bits of scenery and items on stage are. It's drifted away from the original meaning, to just a generic term for an item of scenery or equipment that gets interacted with in the course of telling a story. Now you know, and knowing's half the battle!

GREAT!!!!!! Request request request request request request request request request: Could you make the two side 5mm far from the folding line? The pro: one could fold them around a 3mm foamcore without having to align them by hand, and the result will be a 3D, 3mm thick wall ruins. The con: one have to make an additional cut (the base line) if he just fold them in a 2D wall. Imho having two ways to build the ruins beat the additional cut.... Said this: the more the textures, the better. A ruin is just a ruin: he works the same with wall texture like a preistoric mud , a medieval stone or wood one, a WWII brick and stucco, a modern concrete, and perhaps also a Sci-fi ...something

... Could you make the two side 5mm far from the folding line? ... the more the textures, the better. A ruin is just a ruin: he works the same with wall texture like a preistoric mud , a medieval stone or wood one, a WWII brick and stucco, a modern concrete, and perhaps also a Sci-fi ...something Good idea with "distance space" but I had already these sheets assembled and any significant changes on this stage usually results in some errors (and this is kinda impulse-driven experimental set for me which took already whole weekend and Monday almost without sleep...) BUT #1 there is possibility to "sacrifice" these 5mm from existed models - all these ruins are quite tall so folding / bending 5 mm wouldn't hurt nor made any problem. Then I also wanted to keep these "models" as easy as possible. BUT #2 I've added "foundations" to textures (brick and stone wall) - these are almost half page tall (for each side) so in this case shouldn't be any problems for sure. These textures, or rather premade big components, are intended for cutting from them (after folding and gluing) any shape user might need. After creating his own shape walls / ruins etc... user can enhance models by adding premade components (doors, windows, banners). Ad. textures These #1 ruins are mostly fantasy and medieval but if it shows that people like them there shouldn't be problem with other time/ location boundaries. Actually I got already a lot of various wooden constructions (Dark Ages and Wild West related mostly) plus some Sci-Fi as well (external: bunkers, turrets, gun/radar towers and internal: command point, laboratory plus some gates). Interiors aren't so sophisticated like many market available though - but still easy to assemble and store plus should be affordable. Anyway I'll wait for some feedback, comments and suggestions perhaps before proceeding with anything new.
