Does anyone have a copy of the seablade rules that used to be on paperworlds.com? I tried wayback machine but alas I cant access were I think they would be stored, i suspect they might be available in one of the many yahoo groups but the couple I thought might have a copy didn't. I was curious to have a read of the rules and see how they worked.

Yah, I was a playtester/advisor forthe rules workgroup. I got to play a live game against Paraplegic Racehorse, one of the main rules designers, and stomped him. One of the main flaws in these rules is that the build and combat sections were constructed by different authors who didn't seem to talk to each other. Jim and Shaungamer88 made some wonderful modular fleets for the system.

It was actually looking over Onemonk and Shauns ships that I saw the reference to seablade, somehow I'd missed it before no clue how.

Because it was shrouded in the mists of lost ancient Paperworlds...

Thats a brilliant fleet.
I've been looking at multiple rulesets to come up with something generic which I'll probably use as a pirate type game. I've read through Sea Blade and Man O war and played a heap of evil steves lego pirate game. I flicked over a few spaceship rulesets as well same principal just tends to have an extra axis.
Anyways considering the length of my to do list it'll 2025 before i get something written down....
