That's a pretty cool gallery. I like the way they're doing the displacer beast. I was never a fan of the stringy, anorexic one that's showed up in the last few Monster Manuals. Does anyone else really dislike the really exaggerated elf ears? They're not quite at World of Warcraft length yet, but they do seem to get longer and more prominent with each edition. I prefer elves to have ears that are pointed, yet subtle... Like their personalities. Apart from the weird aesthetic, you'd kinda expect ears that stick out that far to result in either really awkward looking helmets, or a lot of chopped off elf ears.

Most of the concepts I liked. The elf ears didn't strike me. The one I hate is the fire giant: how do those scrawny legs support those shoulders? And what is that thing he is supposed to be holding? It is not a sword.

That Black Widow could also double as the "Baroness" with glasses and black hair, too. Great work. The Giants didn't strike me as anything great... And CBL, that IS a sword. I forget the name of that, but is is a broadsword hybrid with an adapted axe-style blade. (My weapons encyclopedias are in storage, so I can't give you the exact name of it. IIRC, it is a short-handled naginata... I am thinking "Darn-Do" is the correct name. But if I was right, then it would appear I knew what I was talking about, and we can't have that).
