Hello, everyone - I'm a newbie to this forum and just happened to come across it. I'm glad I did! Amazing work, great inspiration, and just lots of great discussion. I am just starting to explore tabletop gaming and can't wait to interact with all of you.
Cheers!

I rarely say welcome to individuals in this thread. I'm a pretty but I wanted to try something different. Not sure how often I'll remember... I'm a little late for January, but I'd like to say "welcome" to that month's new members - all 21 of you! An extra special welcome to factoria tabletop, anze, Gonzalo and okoto for starting your first month with posts! Whether you contribute with images, questions, comments or random thoughts, it helps keep this place awesome. Thank you! Since I'm already distracting you with this post, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank three groups of people who keep this place kickin'. Creators - thanks for continuing to share your work (for free, or for money!) with this forum. I appreciate having a place where I stay up-to-date with what gets released, and I love being inspired by your work. Hoard contributors - thank you for spending time to share something with a group of people you'll probably never meet, all for the thrill of just being able to share something. That's pretty awesome. Admins - I know I'm an Admin in rank, but I feel like I'm more morale support for Vermin King and squirmydad, as they keep this place hummin'. Thanks for giving me a place to share in a pretty dang nerdy niche hobby. My only regret is not getting here sooner!

I know there's still a little time left in the month, but I have a tendency to lose track of things... Despite being a short month, February has brought 16 new members to the forums. Welcome, everybody! Extra special welcome to dutenheifer, isman7, mathchris, theyweremonsters and H_E_H for peeking out from the shadows and saying hello. The best way to make these forums worth while is with contributions. If you signed up with us but haven't said a peep, consider popping in and just saying "hi everyone" or post a picture of some minis or terrain you've built. Good, bad or ugly, everyone loves seeing what other people are building! Special thanks to the folks around here who promptly moderate the occasional spam out of the forums. This place is kinda like Disney World - when you first get here, you go wide-eyed at all the stuff to see, and even after your millionth visit, it remains fun. That's because of the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps everything clean and working. And for every month that there is a hoard to release, I'm going to say thank you to the folks that take the time to submit their work! I did some pretty quick math... The hoards have been going on here for *ten years*!

Hi . I joined because I was hunting for just the right paper miniatures for my roleplaying campaign. (Using the Angel & Buffy RPG rules.) The PCs run a vegan food bus. Just to demonstrate that I walk the cardboard walk, here's the tragic moment when the other PCs found out that one of their own was a vampire, and the were-Badger PC killed him. Note the papercraft bus.

Hello everyone. I am Lucas from Poland. An illustrator and former comics book artist. As a father of two very young kids a wasn't able to follow strictly deadlines so I decided to slow down and move into drawing templates for paper miniatures : ) My website is here: www.papermini.com - here you can download my miniatures.

Welcome to the forum.
Kids? Deadlines? They usually don't go together well. Even when they are no longer young.
Glad you could join us. Looking forward to seeing more of your work

Hello I am Dom. I am a miniature painter in desperate need of inexpensive buildings to facilitate my expensive habit of tiny pewter warriors.

Welcome to the forum. Take a good look around. There are a number of buildings in the Hoards and Downloads, and also found scattered in the forum threads.
Don't forget about the Publishers, too. More expensive than 'Free Models', but certainly less expensive than pewter.
What games do you play?

Howdy,
I've been in the hobby, one way or another, since 1962 (creak!) I love everything about miniatures of all kinds, but alas, even plastic figures are getting almost too pricey for me. With the outstanding quality found in cardboard figures, they are becoming more and more attractive to me. My wealthier friends may not agree, but who cares?!
Glad to be here.

If you can see my painting, you would see why I think that digitally painted minis and models are superior. Glad you could join us

Only a week late with this - that's good, for me! Welcome, all 19 new members who hopped on board in March! A special nod to bumbydad , dom , papermini , joemcp and drianmcdonald for peeking out from behind the curtain and saying hello! It's totally fine to lurk around here - there's a lot to see - but sharing your own creations, your builds, your ideas and other banter makes the place just that much better for everyone. I won't stop thanking the hoard contributors! Punkrabbitt , Toman , yifferman , Vermin King ... did I miss anyone? If I did, I'm sorry!

Not sure where else to make a note of this:
On my absence - We are adopting two girls (10 & 11) who have been with us since Dec. and as a result I have little to no free time available for papercrafting. I miss you guys and hope that when our life gets more stabilized I can come back and make more stuff.

If that isn't a good reason to be absent, I don't know what is.
Wishing you the best of everything, including a few free moments to visit on occasion, until you can make it back on a more regular basis.
We'll be here when you can make it back. Take care of yourself and your family.

Welcome to the forum. Not dead, but with all the image host sites having issues, it is kinda slow this week
If you do a search, using the phrase function, with 'Star Wars', you will come up with a lot. There are elements in the Hoards, links and files from guests, and some models
We've been around for a long time here, and there are lots of treasures to be found in the various threads. Search can be your best friend

Hello people of the paper planes! I came here by mere luck , trying to learn how to handle my Cameo to make awesome miniatures. I will try with all my might to deplete the knowledge of the already written answers before I ask the same questions again

Hello people of the paper planes! ... I will try with all my might to deplete the knowledge of the already written answers before I ask the same questions again I like you already! There is lots here and some of it is hard to find. Ask before before your frustration gets too far ahead of your might.

Hello people of the paper planes! ... I will try with all my might to deplete the knowledge of the already written answers before I ask the same questions again I like you already! There is lots here and some of it is hard to find. Ask before before your frustration gets too far ahead of your might. Just for the sake of that answer I wanted to play it cool. But Its day 4 since I got my Cameltoe (I named the machine that) and I still cant calibrate it. I have found a super easy and quick way to make the cut files with illustrator, photoshop and silhouette. But still no cutting minis. Should I start a post named "HELP ME OR JUST KILL ME"? to ask about the calibration specifics? Just point me where I should go bother and I will. And thank you for existing people of the paper planes.
