Dropping a note here to let you guys know that some more stuff is up on the Model Archives. First up, a new archive page for diorama/vignette aids, which include the terrain mats and modular hills that WackyAnne asked for: Diorama/Vignette AidsNext, I started a new page for the Chez Ebbles stuff from before I started Genet Models. I kicked it off with 4 models--the orbital gunboat, the Crotale IIIc and Crotale IV, and the Underwing Stores Set. I'll be adding more stuff as time permits, and you can find that archive page here: Chez Ebbles 2011-2012 ModelsIn other news, I also finally got around to setting up the tip jar that people were asking for, which you can find in the Model Archives dropdown menu, or here: Genet Models Tip Jar

These will work perfectly for so many things. Both the multitude of great textures, and the versatile geometry of the raised terrain will come in handy. And given that they are separate files, rather than layered, means I can recolour them easily if necessary. I'm off to make sure my paypal account's in working order! Tip jar, here I come!

Just a quick note.
I purchased MOST of these archived models from your Ebbles site. The few I did not purchase individually I got on your DVD. The fact that you are offering these for free to a "new generation" shows just how freakin' fantastic you are!
In my opinion, you are the GREATEST papercraft model designer bar none! (Just to be fair, Dave Graffam, Glenn Williams and TOPO are among the best, as well... with favorable nobs to Squirmydad, SirRob01 and BraveSir Kevin).
In short, you are one of the people that inspired me to do what I do. Thank you for sharing your gift!

This might be a silly question, but it came up the other day when me and a friend were talking about some projects I plan on working on for my Scifi game but, the VT-3 Pinzgauer model, how is it pronounced?

Pinzgauer is pronounced like the military vehicle of the same name, which is like the horse.
'Pinz-gow-er' where 'gow' rhymes with 'cow'

Thanks! I took down the Tip Jar a while back. Tips were super rare and I'd stopped using PayPal to pay for stuff online anyway, so the tip jar was one of the things that went bye bye when I decluttered the website a bit. It was initially intended to help cover the costs of hosting and maintaining the archive if it outgrew a shared hosting environment, but so far the resource usage and bandwidth consumption seem to be manageable enough that I don't have to upgrade the hosting yet. It currently costs about $166 per year to maintain, but I've defrayed a fair bit of that by piggybacking it off my existing multi-site shared hosting plan. I second this statement !! I have downloaded some of your models and I was blown away not only by just how freaking cool they are! but also by how easy they are to put together your not only a great artist but a master architect as well!! I bow to your awesomeness!! ... and you have a cool looking cat! the sign of a true master ! LOL I appreciate it.

LOL I agree, Mel has absolutely amazing models and has put some down right amazing design and texture work into them! I baught almost all his entire collection a few years back lol and they are still easily my favorite models by far! Lol I wish I could see some of his workbench ideas come to life, there was some pretty neat model concepts in there like weapons for the Percheron and a neat Osprey looking plane if I remember correctly. Also definitely an awesome cat by the way!
