Got an e-mail in this morning saying that as part of DTRPG's International Tabletop Day celebration sale, Fantanomicon Press have reduced their Printable Pawns cardboard figures by 50% for today only - works out as £1.20 a pack in "real money", I don't know how much that is in colonial dollars..... I already had his free Dungeoneers set and they are unapologetically cartonny in style, but I kinda like them. So picked up the goblins and Space Heroes (will see how the latter match up with Dave Okum's space opera ones.....) Publisher page on DTRPG: rpg.drivethrustuff.com/browse.php?manufacturers_id=3928NOTE - this is a public service announcement, I have no connection with the company or artist other than being a fan!! Copy of e-mail below.... Greetings and salutations!
Today is International Tabletop Day, a day commemorating both togetherness and gaming! In honor of this great occasion, we here at Fantanomicon Press are holding a sale drastically reducing our already low prices. The sale lasts all weekend, but TODAY ONLY all of our Printable Pawns are 50% OFF! That's right, friends, every one of our Printable Pawns sets --each with sixteen different characters on three different basing styles available in both color and black-and-white, making of a total of 96 figures PER SET-- is on sale for HALF PRICE TODAY ONLY! Don't miss it!
Happy International Tabletop Day, folks!
Good Adventuring!
Tim at Fantanomicon Press

They are "different" but they are also excellent paper minis, imho.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one Mike. Hadn't spotted these previously, and they are rather fun. I'm sure other CWFers will appreciate the style too, and particularly the half-price offer!

I tried picking these up yesterday, but all the Tabletop Day stuff kept the RPGNow/etc servers overloaded. Regular price is $4 USD each, down to $2 USD each for the special sale, but they are now at $3 USD each for the remainder of the weekend.
