Just came back from my third session of D&D-Next a couple of hours ago.
In the last 18 days, I have played more than in the previous 18 months. And that was already more than in the prior 36 years.
From playing a couple of sessions every 3 to six months, I've now joined a D&D Encounters group at my FLGS (recently restarted, with a strong core of players), a D&D Starter Box group (some overlap), and a Pathfinder home game...
Life, in the gaming sense at least, is good.
Soon I hope to finally have enough experience and confidence to get a home game going (for real this time) and put all that pretty papercraft to good use. So far, the papercraft has only peeked out here & there, and more than my boys deserve to see it...

What happens when it becomes an UFLGS? Usually they go out of business then. Seen it happen. There's nothing like a FLGS to keep on gaming.
