Agent Dever reached the rooftop of the building and pointed the gun towards the running man. "Freeze!" he shouted. Randy White stopped but only to shot twice in his direction and missing him completely in the heavy rain.
Dever responded to the fire and hit White on the arm, leaving Randy's gun and blood on the wet ground. Cursing himself, the man turned around and began running again, while the light from a police helicopter was cast on him...
I made these miniatures and "model" myself, just for the occasion given by Papercuts 2014. I seem to understand that it is not mandatory to make available the material for this category, but in case you are interested you can find it here. I hope you enjoy it

What I find amazing is that while the rain effect is printed on the terrain pieces the eye is tricked into believing the rain is actually falling on the model pieces themselves.

This scene and the rain effect on the models makes me think of the movie Bladerunner. Excellent work.

I have to agree on the rain effect. Very nicely done. There are also a lot of details that you don't catch at first glance that all add to the effect.

This scene and the rain effect on the models makes me think of the movie Bladerunner. Excellent work. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like tears in rain." I thought that exact same thing, squirmydad

Thank you very much: I spent some time on this (and the lights on the fugitive), so I'm happy I reached this effect This scene and the rain effect on the models makes me think of the movie Bladerunner. I thought that exact same thing, squirmydad My real direct inspiration was an Italian comic called Nathan Never, this episode in particular: But it is undeniable its atmosphere is a loving tribute to Blade Runner. Anyway, I did watched over and over the final scene from BR to get an idea on how to represent the rain on characters and surfaces
