I agree that a few women would have been a nice addition. The figures that are here look great though.

I will buy it, but i still think the mercenaries are undefeated. I think you did something special to the merc faces that gives them some extra points in my personal book. Still a nice design!

Correction. I`ve printed them. No they look alot better! I have a problem with alot of the minis as PDF. Often my mind isn`t able to translate what I see as a file into what it would look like in 28mm scale. I am happy with them! Building them in tonights nightshift!

Hello sunraven01, thank you for commenting. We are hoping to release a set of all women later this year (November or December). There have been a few requests for more female characters, so we will also try to deliver with our future human sets. Ryan

*humanoid One thing I like about the Okumarts minis is that he often has women and children mixed into the figures. Now, sometimes they maybe in fairly stereotypical roles, and that might be something to work on (like, do orc women look different than orc men? and if so, do orcs really care which gender is fighting?) Maybe this doesn't lend itself to EVERY set, but I do like seeing sets of figures that probably have some social structure to include men, women, children and elders in both battle and civilian roles. It lends itself well to having interesting NPCs for adventure hooks, too. I appreciate all minis. I'm just pointing out that there's opportunities for lots more.

Hi niksantsurvivedendor, I'm glad you like the minis. If you use them in a game send us a picture! We'd love to see it! *humanoid One thing I like about the Okumarts minis is that he often has women and children mixed into the figures. Thanks for the comment mproteau (Paper Realms). I also really liked how Okumarts plains nations had women and children so you could make a village. Right now we are trying to cover warbands, but if we have the time and resources in the future, the sky's the limit! I always considered orcs genderless. That's how they are described in Lord of The Rings and way back in the day I played Gorkamorka and there was a lifecycle diagram that explained that orcs are basically fungus. Anyway, I know in other universes orcs have gender, but personally I think it's more interesting if orcs have an alien lifecycle. Here's a low res diagram I found explaining what I mean: It also reminds me of how the trolls reproduced in the movie "Ernest Scared Stupid". Ryan

Hey Ryan - I had never seen that before - interesting!
I wasn't trying to imply that I think everybody should always make every set of humanoids that contains men and women of all ages. I also wasn't meaning to single you or this set out - I'm wanted to just raise awareness of anyone looking that there a lot of opportunities for providing minis for aspects of gaming that often are overlooked. I'll start another thread just so I can dump ideas - it's really not meant as a judgement (or even a comment) against the set in this thread, which looks fantastic.

In a game world I have been meaning to run some day "gorcblins" steal human babies to be transformed into gorcblins during a ritual performed on the night of the new moon. Sometimes the ritual yields a weak result, in which case they swap the (now) changeling for the next baby they steal in the hopes that the parents will not be alerted and come searching for their real child.
