There is also the one monk battle cars from the miniatures in paper showcases #40 and #41. I have printed and built those at 50% scale and they are about the same size as Hot Wheels cars. They are still buildable at that scale, but smaller than that looks to be pretty aggravating. LinkDownloads

Hmm.. I think I will do pedestrians and motorcycles as paper minis. 1/72 Junior General scale I think If I'm using matchbox cars (3x regular Car Wars scale). I just have to find suitable mad max style ones.

I think I'll meddle with some of the post apoc figures from One Monk and see what I can come up with for pedestrians and bikers. Those links are cool, but a bit dear at this scale I should think.

Those links are cool, but a bit dear at this scale I should think. Since I'd planned on doing the papermodel.jp falcon for a while and Goose's cycle, I think I will play around with them today. We were supposed to get snow, so I cancelled my plans, so why not.

I have absolutely no free time so I immediately set to work scaling down paper minis for Car Wars. Here's what I've got so far. The bikers were from internet sources that I 'finished' in Photoshop.

They look good. Something tells me that this version is different than the one we used to play. We had top-down cars that were just a little bigger than your thumbnail, and courses that were on four 8 1/2 X 11 sheets. One involved six sheets. Almost makes me think they are setting this up to involve paper minis, Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars

I have tripled the scale from the core game.

I also don't remember motorcycle rules, but that was 30 years ago. Do you envision doing a team version Mad Max second movie type deal?

Well printing Goose's MFP bike at two pages per page gets it close to 30mm, but still too big for 1/72 to 1/64. I'm not sure why there were no treads on the back tire or the back of the front tire, so I had to fix it. Used CA to harden the handlebars.
