My muse is working over-time tonight! I came up with this AMAZING character, the main villain for the upcoming Deadly Missions: THE DARK. He looks cool, and has some new abilities from the Dark Arts Codex (that is part of The Dark set), there is only one thing missing... His name!!! He is a Dark Knight, and would have a title, such as "Lord" or "Sir." But what is the REST of his name? We are going to conduct a little contest... Whomever submits the "best" name for this character will not only be able to say that they named a Deadly Missions character, but they will also receive a FREE copy of Deadly Missions: THE DARK! The contest will go until we have a name that we like. We ask that you don't submit names of existing characters (outside of Grey Matter Games, and encourage characters from other GMG sets... that might prove to be interesting). You can feel free to share this, and submit as many entries as you like. Four... three... two ... one... GO!!!!

Reminds me of Kain from the Legacy of Kain video games. Its of course an existing character though, and I wouldn't suggest it even if you didn't have that rule for the same reason you probably made the rule.
Im going to suggest: Gar Ricin Hemlock
He makes me think of some of the garfish that the River Monsters guy catches. Im assuming he also has a toxic personality. Could probably have kept going with toxic things, but I figure two is enough from me.

Sir Edmund Adler, Lord of Wispmoor Manor, the Baron Hemlock, and the Earl of Dunreach.
His family crest is an eagle perched on a sword, and his family's motto is "Defiant to the death."
Now I want to write background for this guy.... hmmm...

Wow, kiladecus, you got this one ALL WRONG. I know this guy. His name is Peter. He never wanted this life. He wanted to be a pastry maker. But his father would have none of it! He was picked on by his peers and beaten by his parents. Even the family pet - a viscous cat named Marbles who always ran away for days at a time... that's another story... - was terrible to him, scratching his face so badly that he is permanently disfigured. On his 18th birthday, in a last attempt to prove that his son could live up to his standards and make him proud, his father poured him into a suit of armor and sent him off to war. At the first battle, he tripped and fell under a half-orc warrior who suffered a debilitating wound to the left leg. Trapped there, he and the half-orc remained still to avoid any additional participation in the battle. After hours of silence, the half-orc finally spoke to him, and they struck up a quiet but meaningful conversation. It turns out they shared more in common than you might imagine! The half-orc, a female warrior named Uk, really wanted no part of looting and pillaging. She enjoyed painting and music, and really just dreamed of a quiet life exploring the arts. Seen in the picture here, the battle had ended, and the two finally dared rise from the ground. Uk rolled off of Peter, and here you see Peter reaching out his hand to help her stand. It was the first time she ever had someone offer her support, and the first time someone ever needed support from him. Peter and Uk eventually opened up a bakery/cafe. She painted caricatures of guests and played music in the evenings, and Peter spent the early mornings trying out new recipes for sugary confections. They lived happily ever after. You really aught to do your research before you go labeling someone a "Dark Knight". You're gonna get some poor guy killed!

Actually, I think he sold me a Mozart piano concerto CD in the Virgin store in San Francisco a few years back. My recommendation, since he has kind of a Eastern European/Slavic look was Ionut Tepes. Ionut is Romanian for John, and Tepes, well, Impaler.

Wow! I WAS wrong!
I thought he was an evil dread knight that worked as an assassin for Mordechai for years.
I am glad you straightened be out about that scarred face. I thought he had a horrific accident that left him with a cheap cybernetic arm.
So in fact what I mistook for a light saber-ish weapon is in fact a wooden walking stick carved by a yeti named Sphen?
Wow! I was WAY off !

Oh... shoot... MY BAD. That's not Peter, the pastry guy! That's his EVIL TWIN BROTHER, none other than the DARK LORD AKSULKROND! The GLOOMRISER himself! Yeah. We should definitely kill him. Sorry!
