Hey all, I've been reworking the Downloads section and consolidating my sites into the new Downloads Central section at One Monk.com, it's not quite finished though as I have a few more little tweaks and uploads to do before I'm completely happy with it. Check it out though and let me know if it works for you.

Seems to be fine - checked several pages, did a couple of sample downloads, and all seems to work that I tried.
Might be useful to highlight the images that actually link elsewhere a little more clearly, rather than those that are just cycling through images for show, and some of the labels might be a little larger/clearer for the download sets.
Also, I noticed some of the images have a large "Free" flash on them and some don't, which might suggest they're not all free to download. That may need more work to resolve than is justified though, as I suspect you'd have to rework each individual image with the lettering on.

I do hope that you have an 'arrow' font. When I first glanced down at the categories, in Dryw's section, I read it as 'Abomina'tion Lumberjacks', which I couldn't remember, then I said 'Doh!'. 'Abominations to Lumberjacks' or 'Abominations -> Lumberjacks' might be a bit more obvious to the uninformed or not-fully-awake-yet folks

Just one person's 2ยข, and it's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction. I hate it. When I go to the page, stuff is changing all around. It's a distraction. Some things have a hand cursor, some an arrow cursor. I don't know what to click on. Some things bring me to a new page, some things bring me to a whole new site. The papercut galleries shouldn't be in the downloads section.
I know it's a work-in-progress, but I'm finding the site harder and harder to navigate.

Worked well for me. A couple of links still took me back to the Mayhem in Paper transfer notice page, but other than that it was great.

I agree that the page looks busy, but in a way there is actually less there than it seems. Could the pictures and the text beneath them be all in one box so it is clear that they are the same thing? Then a note under the MMiP "tile" that says "Link to MMiP Archive Page" (or something) could help it look like the rest and be clear that you were leaving "Onemonk proper."

Man, that's zippy! I like how easy it is to get a copy of each kit.
As I'm sure you know, the Papercuts Gallery is incomplete.

I'm feeling like I am in the minority. I'll PM squirmy with thoughts, since I'm having a hard time wading through them.

I'm feeling like I am in the minority. I'll PM squirmy with thoughts, since I'm having a hard time wading through them. -I had a feeling that I'd gotten carried away with the animations. -I need to add text under the old MMiP logo to explain where you'll end up; check. -If I set up Papercuts elsewhere on the site then it's not as central, I'm trying to make a single landing page that takes you to all of the free sections. Worked well for me. A couple of links still took me back to the Mayhem in Paper transfer notice page, but other than that it was great. -Which ones please?

I PM'ed squirmydad a note with this, but I thought I figure there's no harm in floating it here. It's all I had time to do over lunch - gotta get back to work now.

Well it was the squirmydad's download link in the Eagle 5 picture in the actual download central page, but its working fine now. Another one was the Eagle 5 picture on the home page, but upon further investigation I believe it is supposed to do that. The last one was when I tried to hit download from the Mayhem site, It took me to the "We have moved the goodies page." Again, I think that one is supposed to do that. Maybe on the Mayhem site you could just have it link to the one monk downloads page directly instead. Good set up though!

Dryw's necromancers only give you mummies. A little undead humor for you, but seriously I'm refering to link. I noticed this a while back and must have forgotten to mention it.

It seems clearer to me. Most of us might see a figure and remember it is from Papercuts or whatever but a newbie wouldn't realise that they could get the model that just flashed away by clicking on the text below.

I've added the last of the Hill Martian miniatures to my corner of the Downloads section. These were modifications of Patrick Crusiau's Savage Elves and were how I learned to work in Photoshop eleven years ago. They are fronts only with mirrored backs but they were a fun lesson.

I went and got them. I might do backs for some of them one day. I'm working on something experimental right now that I will share if it works out.

I'm having a few issues with the page. The first time I click on product link I get an error page telling me its taking too long to load. If I click on "try again", it works fine.

Guest artist downloads section updated; -"Where No Man Has Gone Before" mods and art by Mike Berkey and David Okum added. -Fixed download links for Sgt Webb and Domenech1776 sky galleons models -added hexagonal Mesas, 1/600 scale, by Domenech1776 The Papercuts 2013 gallery has also been uploaded.

Another little update; Finished the picture build of the Duc deBrabant in 1/600 scale by JustBill. That marks the last of the Sky Galleons miniatures uploaded, and the last one I'll be building in that scale, just too small for my eyes and hands now.

The Alien Hunters parts file has been added in a variety of formats to the Tutorials page. This is all of the updates I can do for some time.

Oh, sorry about that, nice catch. When I redid the site I changed all of the page names to lower case with no spaces so the links would be cleaner. My machine died before I could make announcements as to all of the changes. Link in first message has been updated.
