Really a great potential imho.I hope that this author doesn't desist when he can't make millions of dollars in a week or doesn't stop on half paper minis (single-sided figures).

migibb - have you reached out to him and told him about this community? If for no other reason than to make people like us aware of his products when he does start selling, but also to encourage him to see the style of minis others are making so that perhaps we can lend some advice. I love the look of the sample mini, though I'd reformat it to match the construction style I prefer.

mproteau (Paper Realms) - I did. I re-posted it on my tumblr and tagged him in it, suggesting he come and check out the forum.

Rhannon - at first I thought they were single-sided, but on second look the minis he has there do have fronts and backs.... (Or at least right sides and left sides....)

Really a great potential imho.I hope that this author doesn't desist when he can't make millions of dollars in a week or doesn't stop on half paper minis (single-sided figures). I suspect that artists who do it just for the money quit art and become accountants and bankers after a month. To get particularly good at art you really need to be motivated to carry on with it, and the financial incentive just doesn't cut it most of the time.

Welcome. I really like the style of your art Thank you! I was worried my style wouldn't mesh, but after browsing this forum, I've seen so many different, beautiful styles and approaches to characters, I think I'll fit right in.

Nice to see you here Jess - I'm sure you will find lots of fun, inspiration and encouragement!!! I love your style too - as was said, it has similarities to Okumarts' but also a unique fun quality all of its own too. After seeing your tumblr post, I went and had a look through your deviantart page to see which pics I thought of yours would make for good minis..... So I already have a "butt-load" of requests!! lol!! Starting with the kobolds, of course......

I already have a "butt-load" of requests!! lol!! Starting with the kobolds, of course...... I was actually working on a kobold last night. I'm going to release a goblins pack and either a swamp villain or evil human pack first (I'm getting a lot of requests for cultists and zombies,) but a kobold pack will be hot on their heels!

IMO, there aren't enough eldritch horrors, demons, robots, or dragons.

IMO, there aren't enough eldritch horrors, demons, robots, or dragons. I'm focusing mainly on medium & large based fantasy figures right now, so robots are unlikely, but golems are possible... I don't have any demons/eldrichs planned, but if the inspiration strikes, they may show up, they are certainly fun to draw
