We've got a pair of brand new cultist/monk themed sets out today! • The Brothers of the Fire set keeps things simple and is cheap and cheerful with 6 beautifully detailed minis! Get a copy for only a dollar at . • The Brotherhood has a customization feature that allows for millions of possible unique combinations! This set will allow you to create the members of virtually any religious order you can imagine. The Brotherhood is exclusively available at Papercraft Dungeon! These necromancers were made using the new Brotherhood set! The monks and snake cultists in this image were both made using the new Brotherhood set! Cutfiles for both sets should be up soon! Cutfiles are now up! Cutfiles for Brothers of The FireCutfiles for The Brotherhood

I will admit to being a bit distracted here at work, but when I saw the images, I thought one set had six figures with a fixed color, and the other had ONE figure with a bajillion colors. Now that I've read your website closely, I realize there's one set of six figures. The "Brothers of the Fire" set has a fixed color scheme. The "Brotherhood" set is the same six figures, but with a bajillion color options.
Lovely work as always.

Thanks for the compliments! It's difficult to describe just how many options this new set has! I'll need to put a video together for it at some point, I imagine.

I picked up both sets. Great stuff, which is no surprise to anyone who knows Kevin's work. Among the many uses for these cultists, I'll swap out the Fortune and Glory plastic Crimson Hand figures for Brotherhood paper miniatures. Thanks again for another lovely set.

The Papercraft Dungeon website seems to be down presently, so it's perhaps worth mentioning that both of these Brotherhood mini sets are now available via the OneBookShelf websites as well, the full set as of yesterday (2016 May 26th): * The Brotherhoodand * Brothers of the Fire. bravesirkevin: While this may not be the greatest time to suggest it - given you're probably battling the Internet dragons even as I type this to get the site back up and running - it might be helpful to add a guide (a simple JPEG image, maybe) to the various combinations the full Brotherhood set can generate into the zip file for that, something similar to the image you added to your original post, but maybe with some additions to show the range of hair colours available as well? I didn't even realise there were hair colour options at first, so I imagine they - and more importantly which buttons to hit to get them onto the minis - might have eluded others as well.

The Papercraft Dungeon website seems to be down presently, so it's perhaps worth mentioning that both of these Brotherhood mini sets are now available via the OneBookShelf websites as well, Thanks for letting folks know! Yeah, we're having a major headache with the owners of the server that hosts our site and several other ones that my brother takes care of (they're all down too). It's incredibly frustrating, but we are doing what we can to expedite the process. Will likely migrate to a new server at some point in the near future. I'll probably do some custom instructions for that set that go into detail about the layers. Was in the process of producing some cool images to better show off the features in the marketing but only got a few of them up before the site went down. There's actually a second cultist set on its way relatively soon, so I'll likely sort out the custom instructions and return to the marketing on that stuff around the time I release that one. In the mean time, there's a new 3d set that would have gone up this week if the site hadn't gone down, and a new PWYW set based on the latest batch of free minis that will go up in the next couple days!

The joys of the "computer age"; great when (if) it all works... I did wonder why there'd been quite a gap between the two sets appearing on OBS. Presumably, the full Brotherhood arriving there recently is part of the emergency cover, and the delay due to the ceiling falling-in more generally There's actually a second cultist set on its way relatively soon... "The Sisterhood", mayhap? Just one other thought. The flames from that torch in the Brotherhood set could look interesting if the fire was available in different colours as well at some stage, though I suspect we may have had part of this discussion before in regard to difficulties making the Blazin' Bones skeletons look as believable if the flames weren't so "flame"-coloured.

I did wonder why there'd been quite a gap between the two sets appearing on OBS. Presumably, the full Brotherhood arriving there recently is part of the emergency cover, and the delay due to the ceiling falling-in more generally Originally the plan was to keep the full set as a Papercraft Dungeon exclusive, as I wanted to build up the library of exclusives to encourage people to buy there instead because I actually have a dramatically higher profit margin there, but then in the middle of my campaign to promote the set the site went down and people were asking for it but couldn't get it so I had to change my plans there just to actually make the set available. Yes, that would be the third set, but that's still a while off. The second set has cultists engaged in more ritualistic sorts of activities. Got censers and chalices and sacrificial daggers and the like, and it really adds a lot to the the first set. Art's all done, but setting it up to be customisable and assembling the PDF is a massive and thankless task, so it's delayed while I sort out a whole bunch of other smaller things. Will likely put that out around the end of June. Disappointingly, I actually had to cut out a lot of the customisation I had planned because the PDF just could not handle it. I initially had more hair styles to choose from, beards and even more decorative elements on the robes. On the other front, I'm thinking of updating the Blazing Bones set to bring it more in line with the style of the current wave of minis. When I get around to that I likely will add a bit more variety to it so maybe you'll see some cool coloured flames there.

Appreciate the points. From a purely customer's perspective, it's easier to have things together in one place for downloading (and only one password to remember...), but given that several of my first papercraft purchases were from Papercraft Dungeon, so I already have an account there, it's not so problematic. (Or should that now be had an account? New site means new passwords and setup even for existing customers, I'd guess from what's happened elsewhere under similarly problematic circumstances.) The second set has cultists engaged in more ritualistic sorts of activities. Got censers and chalices and sacrificial daggers and the like, and it really adds a lot to the the first set...Will likely put that out around the end of June. Good news. Same range of clothing options, presumably? Look forward to the Sisters too - and a fourth set for the sacrificial victims perhaps? Or will they be in with Set 2? Disappointingly, I actually had to cut out a lot of the customisation I had planned because the PDF just could not handle it. I initially had more hair styles to choose from, beards and even more decorative elements on the robes. Maybe some of those could be included among the one-off minis instead though? Shame to waste good ideas. Some evil high priests with fancy hairdos and robes, say? Or even a separate set of variant high priestly types? As for the colourful flames, I await developments

(Or should that now be had an account? New site means new passwords and setup even for existing customers, I'd guess from what's happened elsewhere under similarly problematic circumstances.) If it came to that, it would just be the same site on a different server. Database is still intact so it wouldn't be a matter of starting over. As you pointed out, it is more convenient for the customers to only buy their stuff in one place, which is why the plan was to make it more appealing to shop at Papercraft Dungeon. Yes, it would be just like the other set but with completely different poses. Sisters will have a slightly different set of options in order to make them useful as nuns as well as cultists. I have plans for a set of generic prisoners because that's definitely something that would be useful. No idea how soon I'll be able to get to that, but it is on the list and a few people have asked for it so it's becoming more and more high priority by the day! This is probably exactly what will happen!

Just a comment on the sacrificial victims point. Human(oid)s would be great, given there are very few currently available in paper (weird, given the vast array of them available as cast minis), but worth saying there's not a lot of options for animal sacrifices among the paper minis generally either - goats, sheep, cattle, chickens, etc. The latter would have historical uses beyond RPGs too, of course.
