Can anyone tell me how to curve text in GIMP? I know how to do it in Photoshop, but I can't figure it out in GIMP.

Google "gimp text along path" and see if that solves it for you.

Thank you, sir. It did not directly solve it for me, as I was unfamiliar with a few of the terms used. However, after I used that "google" thing you recommended to research those as well, I think I have it figured out. I will give it a go later or tomorrow

I am hopeless! I tried getting this thing to work for like an hour today... I finally gave up, my Federation ships will not have curved vessel numbers on their saucers at this point

The good news is, GIMP does just about everything Photoshop does. The bad news is, it doesn't necessarily do it as easily as Photoshop does it. I would suggest going to YouTube and looking for a video demo for "GIMP text along path". I often find it's easier to learn how to do something by watching someone do it--text tutorials just aren't the same.
