Hi, everyone. I finally got around to posting some pics of my Kobold Warband. I love that new Kobold set. I made a 30mm Elf Warband and needed some some opponents so Kobolds are perfect for that. With the Elves, 300 points got me 6 characters; a wizard, 2 archers, and 3 spear elfs. The Kobolds however are a horde Warband. 300 points of Kobolds gets 18 Kobolds; a Kobold Commander, Shaman, 3 Infiltrators (I modified some Kobolds with slings to hold daggers to match the SOBH stat), 7 Kobold warriors with hand weapons and shields, and 6 Kobold skirmishers with javelins. I messed around a little bit with the warriors and skirmishers, some I mirrored to change facing, others I cut and pasted to give them new weapons for variety using the Fantasy Weapon parts Jim provided. That was a true "cut and paste" job, my graphics program skills aren't too fancy . I took the weapons into PSP and flipped or mirrored them to have a front and back, joined them and printed them out. Glued them together and cut them out, then cut off the kobolds old weapons and split the kobold's weapon hands (I had already constructed them) and glued the new weapons into place. I think they came out pretty good, but I didn't have any photo paper when I made them. If I had it to do over I'd print them on matte photo paper. Anyway, here's a pic and thanks for looking.

You can get a lot more variety in poses just by printing in mirror. Some figures might look odd, but most will look good either way. JIM

Nice job Luckyjoe!
Those 30mm Kobolds are a great set!
Now for a challenge, try them at 15mm!

Thanks, Jim. I'll have to try that. And don't worry OMB, I have a page full of 15mm Kobolds and Goblins printed out, as well as the Dungeon Adventurers, Knights of the Round Table, Bandits, and Brigands. And a box of disposable scalpels with #11 blades for those tiny cuts. Luckyjoe

And a box of disposable scalpels with #11 blades for those tiny cuts. Have you considered just getting a proper scalpel and just buying replacement blades? The handle tends to cost a little bit in my experience (I think mine was about a fiver with ten blades), but then the replacements cost hardly anything. I tend to prefer 10A blades myself, though.

Hi, Aestelon. Thanks, that's a good point. (pun not intended ) I get my disposables free so it's not a big issue for me. They go out of sterility date and it costs more to process to send them back to the manufacturer than it does to trash them. I have a friend who sets them aside for me. Luckyjoe

Fair play - it's difficult to argue with free stuff, it makes you look silly. Is that why they call you Lucky Joe? Andy
