Sweet! Very sweet! Now I am going to have to build that one to place my Croatale on when I get one with landing gear to display them both. I like the idea of the three layers of cardboard for extreme support. I might be able to improve the support structure a little, but I am going to have to go back and look at it when time allows.

Ralings have one more layer added and ramp is one on the walking area and 3 on walls. You can see platform thikness is like 0.8 mm, same are support walls and bottoms.I try and put a big book on it. Nothing happend I think i made it more for metal model than paper haha. But is good because after time it will be good as new. I plan on making some place to dispay my models i my room because for now they hide in wardrobe. Something like bookstand will by nice. One advice from my is to glue reling before glueing bottom. And first glue support walls to platform with tabs and then add extra sheets of cardboard on it. That allow to better glue the tabs with no gaps. Happy You like it:) It really look cool with Croatale on it. I think to make some stands like that for all good models. And Croatale is very nice design. Simple and cool looking. Now i need to think what make next. There is so many great models on Genet site is hard to decide. Some of them are to hard to make for my skills for now. But most are even simpler than Croatale.

Patience, Grasshopper. Skills develop over time and with practice. Not just practice, but practicing the correct procedures. Keep working your way up in complexity, and one day you may even do the dreaded ... Fei Qiu

He is here, this is his profile Christopher Roe A bear phrase is not meant in a sense of physical size, but in headship/challenge of endeavor. The word bear is an animal in one meaning, and enduring a hardship in other. "I can not bear another winter like this." Would mean I can not endure another cold winter such as this one.

A bit of a bear to build Ah the Fei Qiu, I vaguely remember a pic of that glorious monster a few years back hahaha, I wish I could have taken a crack at it sometime now that my model building technique is better, I remember it had no instructions just pics lol. Wasn't there a Crotale style model also available like that?

Hi, radoslawkamil. Last year I built a large version of this same landing platform. The discussion is at the link below. The photos comparing the original and my version are almost all the way down to the bottom of the discussion page. I made some interior support walls for strength, and a photo of those are presented as well. These were for my grandson who is a Lego Star Wars fanatic. cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/thread/7569/landing-platform
