I've been tinkering with all kinds of monsters, but, time to focus on finishing another pack! This time I have a set of hobgoblins coming up. Some of the minis have been test-printed, just haven't taken any good pics yet, but, those will be up soon! Here's 4/6 monsters from the pack! A hobgoblin soldier, hobgoblin warlock, bugbear and hobgoblin archer.

Oh I am liking those. Usually hobgoblins seem drastically different to goblins - tall, lanky etc - but these do look like bigger, uglier, stronger versions of your goblins. Love the bugbear too. Can never have enough of them!!!!

Can never have enough of them!!!! Thanks! This was totally on purpose. I find a lot of depictions of hobgoblins baffling or boring, they just look like orcs... to the point where I don't even think hobgoblins are necessary, because we already have orcs! Also WotC has gone a weird direction, where hobgoblins are becoming weirdly sexy, orange cat people. I wanted them to clearly read as goblins. Bigger, tougher goblins, darnit! So I'm pleased you noticed that!

Taste the rainbow...One request...please include a page that has one each of every figure in the set, so people who want exactly one of each can print that. I seem to recall in some sets, like the Skeleton Army and Scales and Slime packs, there was no single page with one of each figure. To get one human skeleton, for example, you had to print six; to get one wolf skeleton or necromancer, you had to print two. Not that I can't make a one-of-each sheet in GIMP, but many buyers probably can't or won't. Sheets with multiples are great when you are printing for an army or mass encounter (especially if half of the figures on the multiples page are flipped left to right), but more often than not, it's one of each that I'm after.

Yeah, I've been making sure to include a page with everyone on it in the last few packs, as well as in all future packs. Generally I can't do that when a pack has a few large-based monsters, because they take up so much space. I should be able to get all the hobgoblins on a sheet though.

Noted, understood, and appreciated. Do what you can without making each set so much work that it's not worth doing at all. Thanks for listening!

All the hob-gummis are locked-in! Just gotta finish a few backs and lay everyone out for print, then they'll march off to the shop. I think after these guys, the only actual iconic fantasy "mobs" I'll have left to do are gnolls and zombies... Good thing there are a TON of other monsters for me to draw.
