I recently picked up the Cameo 3 and tonight I started printing and cutting the Goblinoid Tribes bundle on DrivethruRPG.
For paper I'm using 110 lb cardstock. The autoblade makes 3 passes before completing and even then sometimes the cut doesn't go all the way through and I have to run it through a second or even third time.
What I'd like to know is if any members here have the Cameo 3 and tried the Deep Blade which is made to cut thicker material. If anyone has any experience would the deep blade be better and require less passes to cut through 110 lb card stock?

There is also an error in the cut-files I've been seeing; I made all of the cut-files as .gsd format years ago before the studio software came out. Versions 1+2 translated the old files just fine, but I have been seeing this in the V3 Studio software where it breaks up the lines into little sections and instead of cuts you end up with perforations instead. I have been working through the files and making new cut-files, sorry that one wasn't cutting right for you.
lightning: That is good advice but I still wish I could create faster to get all ideas out of my head in time :-)

Papercraft Warrior: The trick is, only projects you should start, are those that you can finish in reasonable time... all others get stuck in their own personal hell.

Coyotepunc: Hopefully tonight I will get some pictures up of Striders with tentacles and my kitbashed 1940s Manchurian building. Hopefully. I might just go to bed.

Vermin King: I think that's why I'm doing so many 'stupid' little projects these days. The projects I want to finish seem to be stuck in their own pocket universe

mproteau: I'm tempted to rename "Paper Realms" to "Glacial Studios" to reflect my pace.

okumarts: Really overwhelmed at work. Marking essays and projects at the end of a semester. I wish I could create stuff faster.

mproteau: 2 of 3 pages of the Local Heroes minis are done! I'm working on some 6" cave walls right now, kinda flip-flopping between the two tasks. Should have the set's cutfiles done tonight, though.

mproteau: Finally! A little success on my cave walls. I like what happened on my desk this morning, and it led me to a few more ideas. Time to work on the grids for the tiles..

mproteau: Good lord I hope I get better at what I'm doing, 'cause it isn't all that good right now! Time to pick up another pack of cardstock to feed to the cutter... lots of failed test builds...
