So we went to the local Wendy's for dinner the other day and happened to get a kids meal (normally we don't) but I was surprised to find as the toy a popup background and paper miniatures. Apparently there are few different sets and it was fun to see my three-year-old enjoying 'paper minis'. Maybe if you're interested you better run over and get yourself a kids meal.

I think that kids still like the 'Toy Inside' concept. I think this would have gone over better with a cheap plastic figure inside. When the promos come out they should have cardstock terrain and bonus figures. I remember the Honey Combs sets of my youth. Inside would be the little four-piece set of cowboys, Indians and horses. On the box were buildings, forts, Indian encampments, etc. Send in boxtops to get the larger fort and, wagons and more figures.
Even Fruit Roll-ups had Jurassic Park figures and trading cards on the backs at one time.
I wish there was more of this kind of thing

Interesting that it was Wendy's who produced this set, seeing that it's the court of a king...of burgers...

Those look awefully nice. Is there a possibility, someone can get a set, scan it and mail me the files? Just because there are no Wendy's in Germany. In this specific case, it's too bad, Wendy's (I remember one being on the main shopping street in the middle of the city, here in Cologne) turned their back on Germany in the 1990's, but they had big issues getting a foot into the market. We only have McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dunkin' Donuts and Subways. No other fast food chain (I don't consider Starbuck's being a fast food chain) seems to be able to make a place for themselves on the German market…
