Hopefully, this post is another prod to get others to post! C'mon, gang show off your session builds! Papercraft props are PERFECT for setting the stage when visiting a Cloud Giant's Floating Castle! Just scale up and build!

I absolutely love the salad bowl posing a as a glass observatory dome - that's really resourceful! At least I think it's a salad bowl...

One thing I know for sure. I would like to be one of your players. With scenes like this it looks like a lot of fun. I have to add I'm very happy to have my husband as a wonderful GM and our nice builds but it would be very exciting to be surprised by a beautiful diorama like yours.

I must admit that running this adventure at my FLGS was pretty special - scaling up everything was just as playful for these adults as I'd hoped. Must have been a really fun session when respectable men in their prime turn into kids running wild in the candy store! Love it.
Another thing - that picture you used as a backdrop for the cloud giant's great hall seems very familiar. Is that the gothic portal of the cathedral in Barcelona or am I seeing white mice?

Yes, it's from Barcelona - I photoshopped it a bit for size and stretch, so I'm pleasantly surprised at your noticing it. |
