That oven seems strangely familiar... It's a pleasure to see one of my designs in someone else's model!

Yes soaringraven, and thank you very kindly for sharing it. Quite fortuitous timing as well. I had played around with a few different fire places, but I knew I really wanted an oven for the kitchen. I would have liked to put a different floor around it, but I was down to the wire, and I just really wanted to participate. In fact truth be told the inn is still a work in progress. In addition to a little more attention to the kitchen, I would like to add more furnishings and wall decorations to the rooms, and of course the sign. This image is the inspiration for the name, and the backstory sprung from the name. I'm working on making the sign from this image as a stand alone prop, sort of the lamp post at the end of the walk way. There is more to the backstory, but I have yet to flesh it out. One thing I haven't settled on is what the name of the original establishment was. The burning 1 is on the edge of the well traveled world and also was it's predecessor. If anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear it. After papercuts I'll try to post more as I figure it out.

An inn like that, out on the edge. It's likely that it's changed ownership enough times that no one knows it's real name.

Very nice build. I love it when you can look at papercraft and have trouble telling that it's actually paper.
