"What do you use these for?" - Most frequently asked question I've heard in regards to paper models and miniatures. Do you want a free pre-printed and pre-cut kit of paper miniatures with foam-core bases and a dandy little tuckbox? Because I'm giving them away! But only if you write a scenario that is based on one or more kits from the Mayhem in Paper/One Monk Miniatures line. Write a scenario and get a free kit; simple. One of these kits in fact; Pre-Prints 1Pre-Prints2The boxes look like this;   Scenarios need to include the following;1) Feature any kit from Mayhem in Paper/One Monk Miniatures. 2) What game system the scenario is set in. 3) Stats for the pieces involved in the scenario. 4) If terrain is important then a drawing of the scenario setting would be handy. Enter as many times as you wish by posting to this thread. Each time you post you can pick one of the kits from the pre-print page, there are two prints of each of the kits shown, supply is limited. "What's the catch?" "Why are you giving away kits that people would pay for?" I'm not a very good businessman.  The longer story is that I put in a great deal of time and effort last year preparing these to sell them at an anime convention that I'd been a vendor at for three years. Sales and acceptance had been steadily improving over those three years and I thought that the fourth year would be the bug breakthrough year for me and that the pre-printed and pre-cut sets in nice boxes would be my breakthrough item. Last year's sales were abysmally bad. I came home from the convention going "WTF?!?!" I threw all of my convention supplies in a big plastic bin and locked it away for a year. The convention is at the end of the month, I won't be attending this year. But someone should have the opportunity to play with these kits, and that's why I'm doing this. Again, it's first come, first serve, supplies are limited, so come and play!

I'm tempted to submit something for this just for the tuck boxes alone! If I find the time this weekend to push out some of the 5E scenarios I've been contemplating, I will. I have 2 questions on this: 1. Is this ANY Mayhem In Paper set, or just the ones shown on the pre print page? 2. Does it have to use every miniature from that set? By the way, PDFs for those tuck boxes wouldn't be available anywhere by chance would they? |

For instance; * The Evil Cultists set are summoning a demonic being and if not stopped a random creature from the Demons set appears. * Goblins crewing a fleet of sampans land in the river village at night on a raid. * An ancient Owlbear is defending the shrine, it's possible there is also a Troll lurking nearby. * There is a major celebration at the tavern and one of the townsfolk might be a vampire. Add game system, stats, and map doodle and that's it. |

Looks like I will need to repurchase the few I am missing. Looks like anything purchased under One Monk Miniatures as bundles never got updated to the Mayhem In Paper publisher |

Not only do I already have most of them printed, but shipping to Germany would probably not be the cheapest idea. Still, I like the idea! Any idea why sales were so bad? A fluke or a particular reason?

Okay, here is my first entry! No guarantee on it being good. This may be a cake walk or total party wipe; I am not sure. It's my first attempt to write up an encounter, and it's going to be a while before I can get my play group to do a 5e campaign. Feed back is Appreciated. Ruleset: Dungeons and Dragons, 5th Edition Sets featured: Evil Cultists, and a splash of Demons Stats and whatnot: ZIP file of Cultist Encounter stuffBoxed Set requested: Cultists Am I missing anything? |

A fluke or a particular reason? I'll have to look into it, I can ship them as a letter by flattening out the boxes. Don't know why sales tanked so bad last year. I talked to a lot of other vendors afterwards and it didn't sound like anybody did well, despite record attendance. Weird. Not going this year, instead I shall devote my time to finishing more projects. I have updated the pre-print info page with inventory numbers under each of the kits and when they are gone I wion't be restocking. Pre-prints1 I set them out on the table to make sure of what I really had, one box of Evil Cultists is already in it's shipping container for God Of Randomness. |

Here is my Scenario 2: Theseus’s Nightmare, or How The Party Learns That Elves Are Jerks! Link: linkI apologize in advance if anyone attempts to play this and it's horrible. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to build a giant maze and throw Minotaurs in it. It all should play out fine, or at least it does in my head. I kept running into various bugs building the map and the monster stat cards. Anyway, it uses the Spartan Minotaur set, both the core and the bonus minis. The box I request for this would also be one of the minotaur boxes. Enjoy! EDIT: Okay lets try that again, except to actually include the DOC file with all the instructions in it! Also, squirmydad how much more room is in my shipping box? Gotta get some more scenarios done to fill it up! Also also, I see in the pics posted above there's a box for wraithlords. Are they available by chance? I've got an undead idea brewing if so! EDIT2: Apparently I forgot to put which minis spawn in which spawn point. Ooops! The Enounter.doc file has been updated with that. Remind me never to finalize and post this stuff when I am tired. Enjoy! |

I was hoping to have the Wraithlord scenario I was working on finished befure my Disney trip tomorrow, but no time :-( I will wrap up the rules and post them probably Sunday when I get back. Here is a sneak peek at the map for it. Hopefully it is enough to be able to call "dibbs" on one of those wraithlord boxes until the rest is posted.   |
