I made one of kris's goblins. I really like him. The ears are definitely tiny, especially with my short stumpy fingers. I had to break out the tweezers. I'm also so used to using cardstock that it took me until I got to the arms to realize that regular printer paper is much better for wrapping around small things. Now that I've built one though, I think subsequent ones will go much smoother. I also took wyvern's suggestion about using hand texture to add feet. I'd be curious to see more in this vein.

Great stuff ...and yeah, I usually use the cheapest paper I can find. Also, nice goblin feet! (there's something I never thought I'd say ).

I made goblins similar to this once. I made the ears and face all one piece to make it easier to glue together. I don't know if I shared them...

Here are a few more. I really love the flexibility of these kris. I already have a few ideas for some other variations.

Those are pretty cool. I don't have the fingers to make them, but your builds look great!

Thanks oldschooldm. After building the first one the rest come a lot quicker. If you had ever seen my short, stumpy, not necessarily straight fingers, you might wonder how I built these, or play guitar, or bass for that matter, or wield a knife deftly in a kitchen. The truth however is these really aren't overly finicky. Other than the damn ears (especially when you've lost your tweezers), or when the next one you want to make is a goblin/scorpion centaur sort of thing ( I think I've got a good plan though).

Is his hat an acorn cap? I like it. I'm not sure it's actually an acorn, but definitely something similar. I pulled it off a tree in my yard.

Is his hat an acorn cap? I like it. As it turns out it is an acorn. I didn't realize when I picked it that it was actually from a small branch that had fallen from the oak right next to the tree and landed in a position such that it seemed part of it. I guess I wasn't paying close attention.

"Hello...and welcome back (with a gentle rap of my fingers on my cutting mat)". "In this episode...", we'll be making some more of kris 's goblins. I really like these guys. The versatility is really quite incredible Even with them all having the same face it's easy to make them distinctly different. That being said I started moding some different faces, as will be evidenced in the following pictures. I've done two but only made one of the new faces so far. So tell me what you think When I revisited the video to make sure I remembered everything, for some reason I looked at some of the comments. One person mentioned an underdark version. Now to be fair, I don't really know what that means, other than it's underground, and drow live there. With that in mind, here is my "underdark" mod. ...and here is the whole gang so far. I also did some color mods with the cloth texture, but haven't used them yet.

Nice work. I think a collection of different faces would be fun. Maybe use the Labarynth goblins for inspiration. Or there are all kinds of goblins in Pathfinder art.
