Here's my entry! A popup diorama for setting the scene on your table 
. I started developing these popups since February and a lot of research, trial & error and headaches went into the process before I got to this level complexity. I was pushing the (and my) limits with this one. Quite proud on what I achieved! Here is one quarter of the entire townsquare popup that you can put together yourself.
Here is the whole townsquare popup in action. Individual quarters work just as well, except they don't make a 360
