Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock MULTI-STORY WAREHOUSE with stackable modules and interiors. This is the perfect set for that sprawling, brooding run-down district where the police are cautious and tourists discouraged. Do you need a secret evil lair? How about scavenging for supplies? Arranging a clandestine meeting with your undercover operative? Now you can build an entire warehouse district for a pittance for your 28mm tactical skirmishes, whether gangs, SWAT, special ops, or repelling the alien invaders who clearly took a wrong turn. Combine with our other, small WAREHOUSE and loading dock and our REFINERY for that sprawling urban blight that attracts the seedy and shifty-eyed . Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your MULTI-STORY WAREHOUSE, a new set waits your summons from hard drive and printer. I should also put in a plug for my favorite knife: the Olfa SVR-2. It's a single-edge snap-off strips so individual blades are less than dirt cheap. Sharper than an Xacto, easier to control, and not that expensive. They're available at DIY stores. If your hands (like mine) are getting a bit stiff, you can buy the little cushioned pencil sleeves at an office supply or department store and slip them on the blade holder. There's also a Husky single edge strip blade knife that fits your hand comfortably and has cushions. Full disclosure: I didn't like the Husky as much as the Olfa. YMMV.
Comfortable, good quality cutting implements really help.
I got mine from Mel Ebbles (aka Chris Roe) when he was still nit he supplies business and haven't looked back.

I know what you mean. In the rare instances when I design figures (American and Russian future combat soldiers) I design a rectangular cutout and then trim the upper corners. I also fold from the top with a fold out base because I don't like the "lip" you need on the bottom-fold figure bases (admittedly a matter of personal aesthetics on my own designs).
However, I just did a new printout of Jim's Terra Force marines (I used them for scaling on Bel's Kitty), and the outline cutout really wasn't bad--and I was using scissors. Maybe five-ten minutes for the squad, bases extra. That's not that much of a time and energy investment.

Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock CRASH TRUCK in four colors (fire engine red, lime green, yellow, and olive) and includes a decal sheet for customizing. It’s a simple model, and so perfect for younger gamers with some adult help. The model is about six inches long, two wide, and two high. Although based on a 1970s USAF truck, CRASH TRUCK is sufficiently generic to be used for any post-WWII setting. You could even remove the water monitor on the cab roof and substitute a discarded turret or rocket launcher from your bits box and have the biggest, meanest technical truck in your district! Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your CRASH TRUCK, a new one waits your summons from hard drive and printer. CRASH TRUCK is available from www.rpgnow.com or www.wargamevault.com for $3.50. For a knife, try the Olfa SVR-2. It uses strips of snap-off blades (make sure you get their "hockey-puck" shaped disposal). I find them sharper than Xacto-style blades and the snap-off cheapness makes me more willing to start a new blade (I'm a cheap son of a gun). I also find I have more control over the blade and can make straight cuts without a straight-edge. You can find them in DIY stores. I tried the Husky version but didn't like it as well. I had thought its padded handle would make a difference, but, alas, no, nor did its blades seem as sharp (haven't tried it with the Olfa blades).

Hm, if I had waited one more day I'd have picked this up along with my order of the Pipeline and Slagtown: Salvage (I'm getting more stuff to fill my industrial zone.) Well, placed on my list. Thanks for the business--and there's more industrial stuff in the queue. Glenn

That front end calls for one thing when I build it ... eyes and a shark mouth. Might even make an extra verticle fin and mount it on top. Or does that sound too WWII-ish? Sounds like Professor Fate (The Great Race).

They have a very Russian feel to them. Big and bruting. Yeah. The inspirations were the Su-152 and German sturmtiger.

You could go up to three levels safely (about 18"), but make sure you add a large base. Or you could use the hoist platform/tower to make a more stable tower with the crane at the top--that (with a large base) should allow you to go maybe 36".
Hmmmm . . . a reaaally tall construction crane? What an idea.

When Natalia Isabel Novgorod submitted her first project, the KV-12T Lev supertank, her father Mikhail, head of the Novgorod Design Bureau on Ophiucis IV, nicknamed it Bel’s Kitty. Armed with a massive rail gun for offense and four remote weapons stations for defense, the KV-12T was indeed a kitty with sharp claws. Then Bel showed her father the KV-12BMP version, an infantry fighting vehicle capable of carrying a platoon. Visions of Novo-rubles danced in his head. Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock Bel’s Kitty, the KV-12 Lev, a supertank to support your armored assaults or an IFV to carry your troops into battle. It’s six inches wide and seven long. This is a sci-fi tank that can command respect. It comes in two variants: the KV-12T tank and the KV-12BMP infantry fighting vehicle. Six camouflage schemes are included. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your Bel’s Kitty, the KV-12 Lev, a new one waits your summons from hard drive and printer. so, right now I'm picturing the frame around the twisted ropes as simple double sided sheets. I kind of would like something more robust, but building four boxes ( top, bottom, sides) seems like too much work to build. Comments? Hey, were'd my pic go? After looking at the pic you posted, I'd agree that a two sided strip representing the twisted rope should be a good solution. I'd give up and use thread, even though I tend to be a card stock purist.

OK, it's not a miniatures game, but it's a darn fine solitaire game system that can be used for a lot of settings, including miniatures. Think of solo D&D meets Space: Above and Beyond. I really recommend it. I put a quick and dirty review on my blog of this great solitaire game whose minor flaws that just might be its greatest strengths fingerandtoe.com/wordpress/

Very nice. I'll be making up on of these tonight While I was building it, I was thinking that if you had a strip to go completely around the cockpit, slapping a couple legs on it would make a really good mech. You could have a lot of variations on this Glenn. BTW, it was an enjoyable build and looks very good. A friend of mine was admiring it, and so did his 13-year-old son. Can't beat that. Thanks.

“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your interest in this tour of the Akkadian Trans-Continental Pipeline, the world’s most eco-friendly and secure pipeline.” Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock PIPELINE, a standalone setting for your commandos or security troops, or it can be used to expand the REFINERY. Build a complex pipe run easily because of the modular construction. Designed to be used for twentieth century through near-future engagements, PIPELINE is easy to build and breaks down when you’re done. Two inch and four iunch high supports couple with five different types of connectors. The pipes easily slide into the connectors and can be cut to fit as you desire. PIPELINE comes with ladders, stairs, a work platform, and optional walkways that slip over the pipes. It’s a perfect set for creating a more complex setting for your industrial skirmishes. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your PIPELINE, a new set waits your summons from hard drive and printer. PIPELINE is available from www.rpgnow.com or www.wargamevault.com for $5.00.

WOW Why not 3D weapons? (like "extruding" a trapezoid)? My goal is one page including instructions on that page. Without the base, it's about one half. The other thing is that weapons like machine guns with their thin barrels really don't make for good 3D. Since this is a pulp-WW2 era "tank," weapons like Gatling guns and laser pods wouldn't be appropriate.

WOW Great things in its simplicity! . . . So the question now is: what of your sets have bridges to be added to these towers? The Sci-Blocks set has bridges (as does the recent Refinery), but there'll be newly textured bridges, barricades, platforms, etc soon.
