I think Slagtown Watchtower One had bridges Yes, but adding the roof and lower wall segments expanded the package from two to three pages. Truthfully, the motivation behind this release was that the texture and design were a little tired. As to Necromunda, I loved the game and the scenery elements. Too bad Games Workshop never saw the potential of inexpensive scenery. BUT the real inspiration that got me going was that company's resin sci-fi fort and base models that cost more than a week in Venice. This, by the way, is a prelude to reworking my Slagtown dystopian line over the next few months.

Slagtown: Watchtower II is an inexpensive, introductory model set for Finger and Toe Model’s 28mm sci-fi skirmish sets and lets you game in a dystopian future of urban blight. Slagtown: Watchtower II is a simple, stackable tower platform with parapet and a removable roof. A complete redesign of the original Slagtown: Watchtower, Watchtower II uses more advanced, photo-quality textures and additional design elements that make it much more attractive on the table. Slagtown: Watchtower II is priced at an enticing, extraordinarily low price so you can easily see if the Finger and Toe product line is for you. You can spend hundreds–even thousands–on expensive resin terrain, then weeks of painting before your gaming friends see your two or three masterpieces. Or . . . you can try Slagtown: Watchtower II to see it works for you, then spend a few dollars on our other sets and in a few hours cover the table–with cover. That's why we're called Finger and Toe Models. We won't cost you an arm and a leg. Come visit us at www.fingerandtoe.com and see what more you can do with the extensive line of historical, fantasy, and sci-fi model sets. While Finger and Toe specializes in 28mm scale, many models are scaled for 15mm figures, action figures, or even scaleless to blend with any models you have. Slagtown: Watchtower II is available from www.rpgnow.com or www.wargamevault.com for an amazingly low FIFTY CENTS! Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Textured. I'll probably change the markings to generic (maybe a rattlesnake) and add a base. Test build and I'm done (fingers crossed). Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Cool idea. With a little modding you could turn it into a WWII Flack tower. Appropriate since the inspiration (central tower surrounded by four towers) is the flak towers around Berlin in WWII.

Looks very good and from the description and picture, I suppose it is made of modular parts ready for creating new configurations... Yep. Generally, I loves me some modular. I just think it gives you more for your money.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I assure you this bombing run on the enemy’s base at Tango Prime will be a milk run. Sixty minutes and you’ll be toasting each other at the O’Club during happy hour, I, Captain Willis Thompson Seagrave, promise.” Six pilots did indeed toast each other at happy hour–as survivors who had left thirty-six dead, “absent on the field of battle.” Tango Prime stood unharmed. Her flak towers had functioned perfectly, for the commandos never pierced the base’s formidable citadel. Intelligence briefing officer Capt Willis Seagrave was found drowned in a vat of milk. The board of inquiry could find no forensic evidence, no testimony as to his demise, which was ruled suicide. Finger and Toe Models announces the release of TANGO PRIME: FLAK TOWER, a massive 28mm, modular sci-fi air defense complex. The central tower is three inches square and eight high–twelve with the radar on top. The four inch high turret towers can be connected with either six inch long walkways or four inch long connector buildings. Rail guns stationed on the turret towers insure the safety of your base. Close in weapons systems on the central tower defends the complex itself. Atop the central tower search and fire control radars seek their targets. Since this is a TANGO PRIME series model, it is scaled and textured to fit all the other Finger and Toe Tango Prime sets, while also being compatible with the ARSENAL series of standalone weapons and the weapons of Guns of Pavarone. For a slide show go to www.fingerandtoe.com and click on the thumbnail in enw releases or navigate to 28mm sci-fi structures. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh any part of your TANGO PRIME: FLAK TOWER, a new one waits your summons (if you have the sacrifice) from hard drive and printer. TANGO PRIME: FLAK TOWER is available from www.rpgnow.com or www.wargamevault.comfor $6.00 Here's a link to the Flak Tower: www.wargamevault.com/product_info.php?products_id=92299&filters=0_0_0&manufacturers_id=797Uploaded with ImageShack.us

As a victim of late alphabet order syndrome since grade school, I vote for reverse alphabet as well. I'm a Souza. This is the FIRST time Alphabetical order has ever put me at the top of a list. Does the system use Akkadian? (I assume it's actually like my old Blackberry that thought everybody's first name was their last--annoying when trying to find doctors)

“Welcome to Alchemy Petroleum Refinery 17. This is where we turn oil into gold.” Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 15 and 28mm card stock Refinery, the ultimate skirmish setting for your commandos or security troops. Build a massive complex easily because of the modular construction. Fight a 28mm skirmish in the morning and a 15mm assault in the afternoon – with the same set. Designed to be used for twentieth century through near-future engagements, Refinery is impressive: the cracking towers can stand up to two feet tall. Joined by walkways, they’re the perfect hiding spot for your snipers. Build a tank farm spreading out beyond the towers. Oversee it all from the air conditioned comfort of your office. Refinery is perfect for your industrial skirmishes. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your REFINERY, a new set waits your summons from hard drive and printer. This is actually in direct response to a request for drones here. As the Cylons are wont to say, "By your command." “What can a little doo-hickey like that do? I’m tellin’ you, Sarge, it’ll never replace the good ole Mk 1 eyeball.” “Watch and learn, little one. Wait for it. Wait for it . . .” PHWOOOOM! “Sarge, can I have one? Please, please?” Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock Air Cavalry: Drones model available in nine color schemes (one a color your own) with ten different weapons. The model stands about two inches high on its flying stand and is one inch in diameter. This is a small, quick and easy to build model to accompany your infantry or tanks, roving ahead as eyes and ears, providing flexible fire support when needed. Although designed for 28mm figures, they’ll go fine with 15mm or even action figures. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your Air Cavalry: Drones, a new one waits your summons from hard drive and printer. Mel Ebbles (Chris Roe) had an extended discussion about the price perceptions in the hobby, proving as my econ profs said, that a lot of economics is psychology ("Five bucks for paper?"). I've got a customer who regularly mails me once a year to complain about my pricing (and it's usually about a $2-3 model), and like you, I've priced as close to break-even as possible. I feel sorry for anyone trying to actually earn a living as a one-person studio.

“Remember, private, no one gets through the checkpoint without you inspectin’ ever thin’.†“Uh, Sarge, does that include them big ole tanks headed our way?†Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock Checkpoint Kilo, the perfect place to start your assault. Designed to be used for twentieth century through near-future engagements, the tower stands seven and a half inches high and has a removable roof. The wall, gate and improvised bunker are a nine inch long unit. O Lady Hathor, make me healthy on the eastern side of the sky, and deliver me from the pest-filled post. Stretched along the lonely desert borders of Egypt, small watchtowers stand guard against invasion, for Egypt is surrounded by enemies who covet her gold and lapis lazuli. Small squads of “rough men†stand vigil that their countrymen may sleep in peace. PHARAOH: WATCHTOWER stands about eight inches high and four in diameter. The watchtower itself is a shell that slides down over a three level (ground and two upper floors), detailed interior. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your PHARAOH: WATCHTOWER, a new set waits your summons from hard drive and printer. “No, my child, we nobles aren’t gods. Do the gods live in such magnificent palaces? Do the gods have servants as lovely as ours? ” Dr. Megan Topol struggled against her captors and broke free, screaming abominations at the assembled nobles in their feathered robes and flamboyant headdresses. From a pocket in her cargo pants she pulled a Wessler 9mm semi-automatic pistol. With a single round she ended the thousand year dynasty of Tzak-Nal, the lost City of Blood. Turning to scan the plaza, she snarled in passable Mayan, “Now, you can keep that whiner Prof. Joffre for your sacrifice, but my grad assistant leaves with me. Any arguments?” Finger and Toe Models announces TZAK-NAL: Palace, everything you need to build a 28mm Meso-American palace complex. Five modules are all that’s needed: a palace building, a raised base for it, stairs, a corner tower, and a second building base pierced by a tunnel. Inspired by the palace plaza complexes of Cahal Pech (Place of the Ticks) and Tulum, Tzak-Nal: Palace is an expansion of the previous Tzak-Nal sets. While perfect as an historical setting, TZAK-NAL can also be used as a lost city for pulp and fantasy campaigns, or even as a hidden base for your sci-fi raiders and rogues. TZAK-NAL is based upon four actual Meso-American sites: Tulum and Cahal Pech on the Yucatan coast, Teohuacalco, and La Campana (both on the Mexican west coast). Every piece in Tzak-Nal uses architecture and textures from those historic sites. Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with SMOOSH ASSURANCE: if ya’ll smoosh your TZAK-NAL buildings, a new set waits your summons from hard drive and printer. Oh dear God. 50 pages! 4.95 euros, though--that's got to be a lot of sales before break-even.
Still, it shows what you can do with card stock, and, thus, is kind of inspiring . . . or intimidating.

“I told you don’t look down, Lieutenant. I told you a dozen times. If you want to panic and accidently release the leg braces, that’s fine by me. Of course, it’s a long drop down, and Corporal Sanchez is going to get the giggles when you do.” Finger and Toe Models announces the release of the 28mm card stock Air Cavalry: Scouts model available in eight color schemes (one a color your own) with six different weapons. The model stands about four and a half inches high on its flying stand and is two inches in diameter. The model represents the Hileski HV-4 Single Person Ducted Fan Scout Hovercraft in the most popular color schemes among the Confederation planets and private security forces. Controlled by an augmented kinesthetic system combining body movement and neural sensors, the HV-4 Scout can be a challenge for new users (particularly recently assigned junior officers. The model has a six and three quarter inch wingspan and a five inch length. The model represents the Milova Design Bureau’s multi-role VTOL as produced in its main factory complex on Acidion IV on an assembly line running parallel to that of its smaller cousin the MI-124 Strkoza.
