I do think Pine's Kirk is written better than the original was. He has way more depth. It's one of the things I enjoy about Abrams' Star Trek vs the original, though I like the look of the old one better.

What can I say about me? I've been a gamer since high school in the late 1980's. I took some art classes in high school but wasn't real serious about it. I can draw, but I've not used that skill in over 20 years outside of just doodling. Gimp is a mystery to me. I can resize pictures, and that's about the limit of my skills with that program. The rest of it is so convoluted, I would probably need someone to show me hands-on before I got it.
I've been a Star Trek fan since I was 12, and have probably forgotten more than any average Star Trek fan ever knew. I cut my teeth on FASA's Star Trek the Roleplaying Game, and could once quote the lore almost verbatim. I also know the Star Wars D6 game system pretty well and have run countless games in that system. I've written a few supplements for Basic Fantasy Roleplaying Game, as well as a generic sci-fi adventure based on the X-Plorers RPG. I'm currently working on a science fantasy setting set in a pocket universe (if anyone would like to illustrate, I can grant them access to the file on Google Drive).
I'm a father of 3 boys, and I game with them. I use paper miniatures because it's just cheaper on my budget. I'm actually new to using miniatures, as most of the games I played in the past used "theatre of the mind". We simply didn't use miniatures for anything except Battletech, and it's its own thing.
I've actually been part of this forum for quite a few years, but have rarely posted anything until just recently. I would ultimately like to commission a figure for my Goliath Fighter that I play in the Thursday night D&D game with some friends. The only Goliath figures on the internet are Barbarians, while mine is a fighter in plate mail wielding a halberd and shield.
At any rate, that's me in all my glory.

Do you have more cadets? Your Cadet Cruise has only 3 human male cadets.

LOL... I was hoping to find some that someone had already done. Besides, you've already given me a freebie this past week. I'm not wanting to wear out my welcome.

Does anyone know of any paper miniatures done for Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers? I've searched the internet, but all I can find is the ship battles game with its accompanying miniatures.

Okay, up front, I'm letting you know what I'm using. I'm on a Chromebook and I'm using the native picture editor that comes with the laptop. I want to resize one of the miniatures that come from Scarecrow's Miniature Maker. All it gives me for resizing is the pixel counts. In order to get it to 35mm to be used with the other figures released on this forum, what pixel size would I have to make it?

Gimp is a mystery to me. Every time I try to work with it, it boggles my mind. I just can't wrap my head around the way it wants you to work. At any rate, I'm using a Chromebook, so I don't have access to Gimp at present.
Wow, you work fast. Color and everything.

This link has the only picture I know of online, and it's not a real good picture.

I'm trying to get something to represent a blob-like creature found in an old FASA Star Trek adventure module. I need something to represent the I'Iglii from the module "The Vanished". My search of the forum turned up nothing with ooze, pseudopod, or blob. Anybody know where something like that could be found?

Just one feature request. Would it be too hard to add an age feature? You already have the white hair, but the character still looks way too young.
