The news of Robin Williams death knocked both me and my husband out of our chairs! One of our favorite actors with movies like Patch Adams, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Fisher King, What Dreams May Come, Good Morning Vietnam, The World According to Garp, Goodwill Hunting, Awakenings, Bicentennial Man, Man of the Year, The Museum movies where he plays Teddy Roosevelt and I understand there are 4 more movies yet to be released with him in them. To say nothing of his stand-up comedy. I always held him in the ranks with the likes of Jonathon Winters and Eddie Murphy for his comedic timing and genius. He was a phenomenal actor and comedian and I will miss him. It is strange though, I recently watched a special on the emotional instability of the creative genius and I never considered Robin Williams to be one who would fall prey to something like that. I always thought he handled himself really well. Just goes to show, you never really know what people are going through inside, what sort of defenses they use to deal with daily life and how those defenses may fail them. Vermin King is correct. There is a hole where he used to be.

I'm not much into the modern army-type war games, but I have to say the those vehicles look faithfully done. Great job, kiladecus!

Welcome, my friend! As aaron so adroitly put it, there is much dirtiness to be had here. There are also lots of great folks and highly talented artists ( aaron is one) here as well. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, you'll get a thousand answers.

I'm really liking your Egyptian Skellies, bravesirkevin. The idea of the Mummies being the bosses and tough elite, while the poor rank and file are the weak Skellies who never got mummified, seems right to me. But what about the Guard Captains, Generals, and the Pharaoh's personal guard? Wouldn't they be sort of the middle men? They would rank high enough to be mummified, but not the full fancy treatment that the Pharaoh or his courtiers would receive. Something more fitting to a lower ranking official, maybe?

This is true. So, what are you waiting for? These are highly talented people who are very friendly and just a bit crazy, kinda like here! You'd fit right in! squirmydad joined a few days ago. So, again, I say: "What are you waiting for?"

It's not just any one thing that has created the Global Warming crisis we are in right now. Deforestation, air pollution, hydrocarbons (both man-made and nature released), the stripping of natural resources, water pollution, Solar cycles, and the list goes on. However, if man hadn't fouled up this planet so badly, yes, we would still be heading for another ice age and there would still be global warming...BUT...over that last 20 years, instead of 6°F+ increase in average temperature, it would be barely a 1/2°F increase, and we wouldn't yet know what a super-storm was like. Instead of looking at the next ice age beginning in our children's lifetime (or maybe even our own, if we don't do something soon), it would be something that would occur many generations into the future.
So, it's not so much whether this climatological disaster (for us, anyway) is going to happen, it's when. Because of our ignorance and stupidity that we have accelerated the natural timetable by orders of magnitude. Instead of having an eon to address this issue, we have a generation , maybe less, not to solve the problem, it's far too late for that, but to figure out how to survive it, and if we're really smart and really lucky maybe we can lessen the severity of it by a few degrees.
Bet you're sorry you guys got me started on this one. Our planet and what we have so callously done to it, is one of my great passions. So, I'll step off my soapbox now and go hyperventilate in private.

We wish you well with that. I guess I am going to have to register... Like wise (both counts) That's weird. It's a Proboards forum and I've never had a problem with it. It might be a temporary glitch. Try again! Thanks. I couldn't believe I made it to second place! Did you see Cauldren Alley? Did you notice what happened to the thief? I loved that!

Hi Everyone! Hey, I've been working on Aelor's place so I could enter it in the World of Craftwars contest at DM Scotty's The DM's Craft forum. I made some changes to the exterior and I made a representation of the interior of the shoppe. I thought you might like to see what I did. I have included a link to the contest page so you can see all the entries, they are all so creative it blows me away! Have fun, and leave a comment so the those talented craftspeople know they are appreciated!

I'm so very, very pleased for the whole Lord Zsezse Works team. To see everything go so well and to watch you surpass so many goals, well, it was very exciting! I am so proud of you and proud for you!
Now the real work begins. I noticed that the release date is estimated to be in December. How funny would it be if it released on December 6th, my birthday? Lol!
Big hugs of congratulations to all of you!

Many years ago(1982), there was a devastating hurricane in Hawaii. i was there, house sitting for a friend in her penthouse apartment on top of the King Kamiamia Hotel the tallest building in Honolulu at the time. I had my kids with me and I went around and taped all the windows. It was exhilarating and scary (my first hurricane), and the next morning, the beach, which had been 3 blocks away was right outside the hotel! The power was out for three days, which when you live on the 44th floor was not fun! All-in-all it was interesting to see the full power and fury of nature up close and personal! Be careful, stay safe, and enjoy the ice cream! That's a real plus! Let us know how you make out. You are in our thoughts, as always!

I like Mordechai. Lots of movement and menace. He looks really surely, too! Just great!
Would the beast come climbing out of the chasm? If that's to be a summoning chamber, wouldn't you need a magic circle or an altar of sorts?

Well put, wyvern. Very informative. I grew up with lots of beautiful antiques from the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods out of France. They used Marbles of all sorts during that period for table tops, dressers, cabinets, and more. We had several of these pieces in my home when I was growing up, white marble, black marble, golden marble, green marble and my mother's favorite: pink marble (not the light petal pink you might think of, but a deep, almost blood red color that they still called pink). It was my job to care for that marble, dust clean and polish, everyday. So, if you can, davidcorner, post some pictures of your marble and, between wyvern and myself, we should be able to tell you something about it.

I know something about marble, but can't really tell without a picture. If you could take a close-up picture of your tiles, I might be able to tell if it's damage or nature.
