Very nicely done! The Scorpion Warriors could almost be used as Fedaykin...

Ah..just now noticed that they're co-joined....maybe scaling them up wouldn't be such a great idea....

SUH-WEET! Thanks a ton, WaffleM! Looking forward to the entire package. Any hints on how I could scale these up to 28mm?

Desert! Or at least some desert-ish (like Coyote tan or tri-color desert or the older "chocolate chip" scheme.

Is there an "easy" way to apply the textures to the 30mm templates?

It is indeed Guncrawl scenery/tiles. And Floyd: As much as I'm dying to play a scenario, I don't feel confident that I've mastered the rules yet. Keep hoping I'll find somebody local who can walk me through a game or two.

LOVED making these! Looking forward to more sci-fi figures. So far I've made the Terra Force figs, the Skelebots, the Cyborg Slaughterers, the Elite Marines, the "regular" Marines, the freebie Sentinels, the Alien Hunters and Nate Augustyn's Shock Troopers. What a blast!

Maybe not the right place to ask this, BUT...what are the "Militants" going to look like?

It's actually not a template. It's a fully developed model I got over at cardmodels.net

Here's a Baneblade I started a long time ago and never finished....great model though...I think I lost interest when it came down to building the tracks.

I'd like to see some figures based on the Dune series by Frank Herbert.

Yup...made a bunch of the Terra Force minis...the Tau minis defninitely do not match up front to back...Additionally, I made all of the Alien Hunters and the Sentinels...It seems that its just the TAO models that dont come out right

I'm feeling pretty confident that the TAO models don't actually match up front to back...can post some pics of what I mean if needed...

Could just be me and my "less than ideal" printer, but I noticed that on my cardstock printouts of the TAO Pathfinders there seem to be some discrepencies with the black edges...they don't seem to want to line up quite right. So maybe it's not the paper???

Thanks, squirmydad! I'm trying Printworks Ultra Premium glossy paper (10 mil), and to be honest, it ain't working out so very well. After I fold the figures in half, there are glaring differences between the two outlines. Can't seem to get them to match up as well as when I use cardstock. I'll try the Canon Matte and see how that holds up. Thanks again...btw, it's really great seeing people from the Ebbles Miniatures forum over here...

I've been building paper models for quite a few years, and have noticed that (generally speaking) Photo paper does not hold up well when making 3D models. Now that I'm trying my hand at 2D flats, I thought I'd experiment with photo paper instead of 100 lbs cardstock. Anyone else here tried photo paper for "flats"?
