I appear to have my own forum section. The Gods here are been very kind. I'll try to organise it so things are in the right place soon. __ In answer to your question, onemonkeybeau, I'm suddenly in a bit of a vacuum. There's a few ideas and leads though, I'm trying to be careful not to line up anything too big. Right at the moment I want to provide working examples of the Basic Pack, and sample maps. One idea is to provide a few bonus pages - free-to-cheap of add ons or special rooms, stand-up doors. Maybe some different colour corridors and walls for Ancient sandy worlds (simple themed pages). Then there's the sci-fi interiors - for a space-hulk style game on Lost and the Damned forum. I have some older sketches of forest paths which need colouring. I have a very strong desire to start working on some cavern sections. I think I need to go through an exploration phase get back into playing with enjoying card and paper stuff. there's nothing like laying loads of pages out on a slow computer to almost put you off a hobby. (In the meantime, I owe someone some children's book illustrations so I might have to take a weekend break from these high fantasy worlds to do that) Also, I think it's time I kicked back and surveyed all these cool figures and scenery people are making - perhaps there's an all-in-one AHQ/WHQ rpg game to be made here! I'm open to suggestions!

Great to see you here Bill! Welcome to our forum, I'm sure you'll find it a pretty nice and supportive bunch of guys and girls Looking forward to all you put out! onemonkeybeau ;D Yo dude! Fantastic forum - incredible amounts of talent here. Loads of tips and tricks. Thanks for showing this place.
Okay - I know it's wrong to mention this is in a "free" thread but I proud to announce that my 40 page Basic Pack (35MB) is now available on DriveThruRPG RPGNow etc. bit.ly/BasicDungeonPack I'm guessing that some of the folks here might be Publishers/Featured Reviewers with OneBookShelf so some lucky folks will have got automatic comp download invites (not sure how that works - and am still trying to work out if I can send comp copies to people I know). (Otherwise it's $4 ...ahem) But I'm just really proud that it's finished. There's a preview on the page on DriveThruRPG as well. Aces.

Relatively simple, but nicely designed floorplans allow your imagination to roam. I regularly use Kris's floorplans (Crooked Staff productions) because they don't distract the players from the game itself. I had a quick look at that site - he seems to have changed things recently. I love his style (especially the maps for is Airtha campaign) CSP is a really great resource. Thanks for the encouragement - re. pursuing an illustrated style.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate any feedback or requests. I've learnt not to feel ashamed of a nostalgia for 80's gaming - and there's so much OOP rules out there in PDF form now (of course, they don't smell the same, nothing can replace those musty boxes!) The full modular dungeon set has turned into a bit of a monster, hence the delays. It may have to be supplemented with free appendices downloads when I realise that I've forgotten something really fundamental to dungeon design. Today's lost design was a camp fire - it's all very well having bedrolls and dropped torches, sacks and all sorts of stuff, but what about camp fires? I have dodgy "open hearth" but it's no substitute for a circle of stones or just a burnt area of flagstone ... Stevelortz, a quick search about keeps drawing me to dead ends - "Heritage" seems to be the only link to Galacta I can find. theminiaturespage.com/man/heritage/Incidentally - I have a couple of rough doodles for sci-fi floor plans for a Space Hulk style project on Lost and the Damned forum: link Sci-fi plans seem to be perverse challenge for an ink pen in a world where everyone seems to have access to 3D computer models and photo-realistic textures. The design standard for board games now is so ridiculously high - especially CCGs - like all the glossy stuff made by Fantasy Flight Games. Mind you, I'm still in shock that someone designed a "Doom" board game. Looks cool though. ;D Oh well, I like idea or pursuing the perverse! Soon, soon! Thanks again.

Really ace. I love the fact that the eyes on the book glow as well - as if activated.

I think I had the same problem - I downloaded a set of your ace kobolds, but I needed some bases. I will try again.
