It has to be done! ;D I used to be disappointed that D&D character sheets weren't more scroll like. I put some more on Ebay last night - some went very fast. I may have to dig out someone duplicate copies I have of a few Lone Wolf books and add them.

Looking great, Sammo!
- Interesting that you mention Wordpress themes - I'm really struggling with the one I use on my Inked Adventures site - someone had some very strange ideas about character spacing! I get so fixated on choosing number of columns and type of background that I forget to look at the small details. One day I'll take the time to strip out all the unnecessary code (I struggle with CSS, I'm such an HTML2 guide of guy)
Loving the main header and the graphics in the Into the Fray section.

I think I tuned into this discussion a bit late, but that made me giggle. ;D <- me. But then I was thinking of selling individual sets for $400 KERCHING! I was thinking about selling card print-outs on ebay for a set price with a disc, but today I saw someone was already selling a Fat Dragon caverns set CD - with no actual print-outs (I hope he was legit). It hadn't occurred to me that people would pay good money on Ebay for a disc of PDFs when they can buy real plans and figures there. The problem is always print cost, storage and distribution -i.e. it only seems to work out when you talk about massive quantities (okay, I'd better read the original thread) - I'm astonished at the cost of colour printer (at home, or professional) blah, blah, yadda, yadda. I think Dagobah Dave was talking about similar issues. Die-cutting seems to be stupendously expensive as well... What you need are many small children in a large factory ... EDIT Oops Are you talking about commission rates?

Rice!? Genius! I'll be posting that in my "Support" section on my website. I went out and bought some plasticine today - it's pretty hard to find weights which are the right size.

Thanks, Revgunn, I'm glad to hear that the citizens of Oklahoma City are putting the dungeon sections to good use! ;D (Do you mean the new red box D&D?)

Please move to a different board if it's inappropriate to post this here. I'm selling some second hand Fighting Fantasy gamebooks on Ebay and Amazon. I've mainly been collecting the books from the 80's and a few that were acquired recently are doubles of ones I already have so I'm selling them on. shop.ebay.co.uk/billiam_babble/m.htmlwww.amazon.co.uk/shops/A38QZTZIW3WKQD(remember that the Amazon prices do not include shipping - which Amazon decides upon) I won't list the titles here because they might be changing over the next few weeks, also if the ebay page returns nothing it's because I'll be in the process of re-listing (check back later etc.). I'm based in the UK but will happily post worldwide (just for fun!). Testing Luck ...

That'd be great, Parduz! (perhaps if I email you a copy/or send you download codes, then that would make it easier for the ppl on the forum, rather than them emailing me? It's about 4MB) A general point - the scale is much smaller than standard HQ scenery but adjusting printer settings might be a way around that. (p.s. there may be some HQ sized props coming later in the year to accompany another product)

A brutal approach when all else fails: Most applications have "greyscale" option. Select that. Then whack the contrast up (perhaps with a little brightness) and that gets rid of all the midtone greys. This is how I remove graph paper lines and pencil from my scans.
Of course you might lose a lot of detail in the process...

Hey No worries, I have a lot of colouring to do with that burial mound and these projects can always go on pause if they have to. You know how it is, things speed up and slow down. The important thing is for you to stay well, be happy and maintain some sort of stability in real-world-world Bb

Sammo, who's brain never stops when it comes to building the perfect dungeon, sent me the following PDF as a solution to the problem of section linking and I feel it's definitely good enough to share (maybe even to include it in a future pack) For earlier experiments with paper fasteners see this thread. It's worth pointing out that Sammo uses my dungeon sections under glass so the paper fasteners and standing doors are not much use for him. This connectors are flat overlapping links - similar in principal to "U" or "H" shape links systems. (Eddnic is also working on something like this for his own tiles - see this thread) Anyhow, if you're a fan of Inked Adventures Modular Dungeon Sections, give these a try and tell us what you think: ( ^ Click to download PDF)

Okay, slow down people. Right at the moment most of my products are to be generic, without systems or stats - coincidentally quite a few of my customers are buying through French, Spanish and German sites, perhaps minimal text is less alienating to foreign language speakers? A while back I've did quite a bit of similar ideas sharing with members on the Lost and the Damned forum, and in a few other places. I've always got a dungeonbash dungeon-crawl WHQ HQ plan in the back of my mind. (I forgot to mention Mortis of LatD may be helping me with some HQ tribute style variations on my plans, hopefully he won't mind me mentioning it) Nearly every idea leads to an all-in-one-box dungeon game - beware of this seductive lure! (Check out the printable Venture board game which includes figures with rules and tileset on RPGNow and Arima) Presently I need a bunch of really small products which appeal to all rpgers, including the old school grognards. At the moment I'd like to try the 6x6 tiles dungeon generator idea on my own (but that doesn't prevent future collab). I'd like the encounter packs to be an accessory range which doesn't explode into a new tabletop system. But you've got me thinking: there's nothing to stop anyone from coming up with rules supplements or scenario hooks which work with Inked Adventures products - which we can give away free or I can pay royalties to the author if I felt it was good enough to put in my store, but even then I'm still open to doing deals with people publishing stuff through their own sites or stores. I'm aware that some balance is needed with me using existing figure art that might be free to download here or elsewhere, but cost is forgivable if we're at least if we're including original background floorplans. Which is partly why I want to keep it simple and cheap, literally a few dollars. Part of the fun in this is the kudos of commisioned/royalties (peanut dust) published art work, but at the same time as maintaining "community" prices (which means we all get lots of exposure and dissappointed customers won't sue etc.). Of course I reserve the right to later charge uberbucks for bigger new products, when Inked Adventures is an established world cult sponsored by HP printers (all worship or perish!). Btw, artists are also allowed to withdraw their work and I'll kill the product in respect of their wishes. In saying all this, I'm really open to all ideas - especially if it involves minimal work on my part. Feel free to PM me or email on billiambabble @ yahoo.co.uk Thanks again guys. The enthusiasm is really inspiring! Ps. Typed on a phone in a state of insomnia - may edit in daylight!
