since my figures are printed to a smaller size I've elected to just glue them to the bases but for full size figures that might take up way too much space.you could just glue the magnetic sheets to the standard sloted bases so the figures could be removed to facilitate storage.

these are the two products I used.after trying this out I might want to go with a SLIGHTLY thicker gauge of metal.The super thin stuff works ok but it can be a bit "fiddly" since it's so flexible.

YOU ARE DOING A GREAT WORK MAN!!!!! you should upload a tutorial on how to make magnetic base... and a link from where you buy the stuff needed..... that once i complete relocating.... i think i ll give it a try I'll take a few pics of my next base build. i got the materials on amazon. if it's allowed I'll post links if not I can post pics of the items and have you guys search them up.

I have been making magnetic bases as an experiment. the movement tray is a thin sheet of steel foil between two layers of card stock. it seems to work ok.

Which game were you going to use these for? It looks quite interesting I have no idea. I’ve toyed with either making my own rules but haven’t done that in years. What most likely will happen is I’ll make a thousand of these guys and then they’ll sit on a shelf until one of my kids destroys them 😉

Ive been printing these guys out at 75% so they are probably close to 20mm scale.I'm basing them on magnetic squares and plan to have the movement tray bottoms made from sheet metal.
