Thanks guys!
Seven years ago I told my family that I'm not having birthdays any more. They won't listen to me ether. I told them I'm an adult and I won't do it if I don't want to. Nothing seems to work. Not holding my breath, stomping my feet or throwing my toys paper replicas across the room.
I won't I won't I won't I won't I won't I won't I won't
But thank you. ;D
....Oh, I had Japanese food and a nice fruit tart for a cake. Yummmmm.

Just had a few thoughts. You could have a set of 1 inch wide air ducts/utility tunnels with the usual 90 degree corners and four ways etc. Just to give more set up options to move around the board and very close quarters combat.
Maybe a few odd shapes other than square. A few triangles, half round and three quarter rounds that can fit next to the square tiles. Even some curved corridors and possibly a round elevator to make them stand out visually from a small square room.

Are you planning to do all the objects and furniture in the rooms from a top down oblique perspective or will these be empty generic rooms?

Pretty quick build. Most of the little tabs you can cut off. There are two sets of small tabs mark with a "C" , keep the slightly larger one. It could have been designed to fold together better. I'm tempted to redo it for folding , but probably won't. It's not that bad. I also put two pennies inside it to give it weight.

Nice model. I just rescaled it for use at 28mm and got 9 to fit on a single sheet in gimp. I turned it from 100 dpi to 300 dpi. They will stand about 1.7 inches/43mm tall now. I'll try and post a picture later when I'm done. Thanks for posting that.

Hi, is it Colin? I also posted your terrain over at the Infinity forums. Sometimes manufacturers stop by and ask what the players want or think of their products. Infinity needs a lot of cover terrain and "street furniture" and your style would be great for the game. You should try and post something asking what players want. They do have a commercial area for companies to post things in and you can always PM the mods. www.infinitythegame.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9514&pid=175625#pid175625

Just bought them. Very customizable too, great job on these. Oh and just to clarify by what I meant by hex tiles. I didn't mean for moving purposes, just for looks. Attachments:

Just tell me when and how much and I'll had over the money. I especially like the the light grey and green one. It looks to be more printer friendly too if you need to print out a lot of them. Just a suggestion; anything with a hex pattern seems to be popular in SciFi right now. A floor tile with 1/4 inch hexs and contrasting colors and maybe with a pattern to it?

I used a big rotary power saw for one of my breaching engineers. Another construction worker with one of those "Jaws of life" and a "hooligan bar". These were all in those Space suit collection.

Everyone's printer is different, but look for an option for "preferences", "Advanced Options" or "Print Layout". You will see something about scaling at 100%. Just adjust it to a size you think will work. You may need to check or uncheck any boxes that say scaling off to setup a custom scaling size.

Nice! What do you think about an octagon barrel with a bronze texture? Maybe an image of a bronze lion at the back of the cannon and at the touch hole? Octagons used to be very common on early cannons.

This probably seems easier for me because I've been doing this exact thing (3D modeling) the hard way (in 2D!) up until now. I have been doing the same thing too. Triangle and basic geometry formulas. I found SketchUp the easiest and most intuitive 3D program I have tried. I need to find out how to make and unfold regular cones and truncated cones with SketchUp next.

What software are you using to unfold it? I started using Sketchup just before my computer died and didn't get too far.

Done Too!Thought I would drop a line and show you how I have been using your stuff. I printed out your template and used the measurements to make seven out of plastic. These are being used as apartments for a Blade Runner board. Plasticard: The other white paper.

My HP 2610 has been very good and reliable, but it makes a horrific sucking sound while the ink cartridges siphoning money out of my wallet. HP makes good printers, but their ink cartridges are just too high. My next printer will probably be some kind of Cannon or something that can easily be upgraded to a A continuous ink system.
