Hey all! Quick update-have been working on Big Al, and he's been a tough one! Still not quite finished, but have started zombie-fying Kurt and Tom. Barring the blood etc, Kurt is ready to roll: I also have a version with no eyes in dead Tom's head, which I think is the one I'm leaning towards... I am going on vacation on the 28th for a week, but hope to get this set finished up before I go-wish me luck!

Well, the force is with me today! Here is Pale Rider number 3, T and Chain: He is looking a little greener on flickr than in Photoshop, but you get the general idea. Again, will be needing some gore to finish him off.

Howdy folks! Here is the second 'clean' Pale Riders biker zombie, who I have been referring to as Sleeves, but kinda like Old Pops for his published name: Got a busy week ahead with work, mum's birthday and Bride of Dark Mook's roller derby expo thing, so wish me luck with getting this set finished up soon! ;D

Glad you're liking them folks! Here's the first of the Pale Riders zombie biker gang, Bandanna Zombie: He needs a little grime and blood, but I'm pleased with the overall look and direction for these guys. I also threw together a quick scale tester to ensure I'm keeping these guys at the same proportions as Set 1: I think they're looking pretty good for now! On with the colouring!

Thanks fellas-glad you like the colouring. I am trying to refine the different techniques I use, but there is always room for improvement! (and well spotted dagger-it is indeed a gradient fill, along with some opacity changes). Rather speedier than my usual form, biker number 2, Tom: I like how he turned out, and think he will look strong on the table. More to follow (although maybe not quite so quickly!)

Hi all! Quick update on progress with Set 2! I have now finished the base colours for the majority of the set, and have finished the standard version of the first biker hero, Kurt: I am quite pleased with the chainsaw and unlit Molotov cocktail. More updates to come as the figs are finished!

Hey all! This is where I will be posting photos of my finished Survival Horror minis! First up, June and July 2009's Hoard entries: John & SissySissy, Possessed Co-edJohn, Occult InvestigatorThese photos feature the re-vamped Survival Horror logo, and my new Occult Terrors logo, which I plan on using for the non-zombie figs. I think this may need to be scaled up for product use, but we'll see!

Hey all! Stumbled across this whilst noodling around on the net: www.atarashigames.com/ghostshark/Classroom%20Deathmatch%20retail%201.pdfNow I'm not much of a gamer, but the idea of converting the premise of this rpg to a tabletop skirmish game seems to make sense, and the idea of fielding groups of Battle Royale style students (and the look of the associated minis, of course) really is rather appealing...

Hey all! For the July Hoard I went with something in keeping with the Demon theme, and decided to give John the Occult Investigator someone to face off against: Sissy, the Possessed Co-ed: My first design had her hovering in front of a giant maggot demon, but decided to go with something a bit more flamey. I have decided to collect my non-zombie figs under the banner of Survival Horror: Occult Terrors, which I think John and Sissy fit under nicely. Oh, I mounted Sissy on one of Jim's 40mm Octagon Lava Bases, and re-mounted John on Jim's 25mm Octagon Stone Bases with a little extra shading and a few spots of blood. I am going to set up a gallery thread, and they will be on there soon!

Hey abaddon! Check out www.leedsrollerdolls.co.uk/ to see the team! I am planning on 5 or 6 roller girls and maybe a ref or two (possibly with the bloody and zombie variants too!) but this will be alongside the sets I'm working on, so may take a wee while!

Not sure all the biker's will make it to this set, but if not they will pop up at some point in the future! Cheers!

LOL! As long as I get the artwork done for her roller derby team and finish customising her Vans she's pretty cool with it! She's already been hassling me to do her team as a set! ;D

Hey all! Thanks for all the ideas-they are now safely filed for future reference! Loving some of those miniatures-given me a few ideas, and nice to see that great minds think alike for some of them. And the Junkyard Dogs idea is now shambling it's way to my to-do list!
Regarding Zombie Biker 1 WaffleM-I'm afraid that they are some putrid innards that have just burst from his distended flesh! If you look closely you can see his little belly button!

Hey all-thanks for the name suggestions! And glad you like the first set Rhannon! I have a very loose production schedule at the moment-in no final order: School's Out-high school zombies with 'slasher' boss Prison Break-prisoner zombies with female special ops Live at 5-camera crew with army, cop and paramedic zombies, with Bioweapon 2Masters of the Occult-Hell on Earth-3 magic users with artifacts and casting, 4 lesser demons (a la Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill etc) and 1 'boss' demon I am also working on a set of vampires (hey there abaddon ), and have a few ideas for a slasher family, more occult investigators (maybe some kind of 'weird happening' department) and further occult adversaries. May take a while to get around to these guys though, as I have plenty of zombies on the horizon!

Hey all. I have started work on set Survival Horror Set 2, provisionally titled Blood, Bikers and Brains. The idea for this is that our heroes have stopped at Big Al's Bikes n' Booze, a local biker hangout, and have gotten a little more than they bargained for... First up is Biker Hero 1: Still need a name for this chap-not sure whether to go with a proper name (thinking Kris for some reason) or look at a biker nickname! Zombie Biker 1: Zombie Biker 2: These guys are the first two protagonists for the set-not all the zombies will be chain wielding either! I figured it would be cool if they were all from the same bike club, so here are the club colours: Again, still working on the name... At the moment the set will include 2 bikers (clean, bloody and zombie), 3 Zombie bikers, 1 Zombie Biker Chick (any of you guys remember Hot Topic Zombie..?) and Big Al, the 'boss' of this set. I will keep the thread updated with my progress! Cheers!

Hey all! Thanks for the kind words, and glad you like the first set! I am working on the next release, which will be another zombie-themed set, and this and all future releases will come with a seperate file for the bases. I am amazed at how well the set has been received, and thank everyone who has picked it up!

Phew! Quick update time! Test build-check! Tweaking designs-check! Pdf layout-check! Logo design-kinda check: I have been playing around with these for the past two days-once they check out with Jim they'll be good to go! Didn't want to go too fancy, and wanted to hark back to the old RE logos. Little photography to do and then, fingers crossed, they should be ready...
