And I discovered another error from the 18th. Time to print up a new page, correct the file, and print a copy of the bar with the footrests at the bottom

Well, the first image has the floor piece and store front. I did it with the doors that can swing. Second shows the little T-shaped brackets for the Soffito to sit on Third shows the Soffitos lifted for access to the saloon. Fourth shows them down. I actually have the back wall on, and the stairs cut out, but not edged. I don't have any of the doo-hickeys on yet -- front porch roof and posts, the Saloon sign, etc. I'm going to install them after I work out the upstairs. EDIT -- I think I have the ideas on how to handle the upstairs layer figured out. I'm going to have tabs on the bottom of the inner walls and a separate floor piece that they will glue under. This will glue to the previous floor/roof piece to give it extra strength. Instead of two really small rooms and a short hall, it is just going to be one small room. And the roof is going to be done with interlacing tabs, so it can open. I had really hoped someone would have jumped in with another solution. Over lunch, I'm going to finish the stairs and print off the roof/floor pieces, then go into design mode again. Does anyone else have issues bouncing between build-mode and design-mode. It's like I have to turn off one set of brain cells and turn on the other.

I have never managed to finish a 3d design and build in one month. So, yeah, I guess I have more trouble than you.

I started early, though. And some of the thought process was started a year ago, but it was more of an evaluation of the concept back then. Well, I just spent 27 minutes talking to one of my agents, 18 of which was on the Democrat Presidential Debate, so I knocked out the upstairs floor page

Spent the night reworking files, so the Toppi Saloon isn't finished yet. I've built in top tabs on all the upper walls for a lift-off roof to sit on, bypassing the interlacing tabs experiment

And somehow, all my files are 2558 X 3311. I'll fix those today and finish up the design on the upper story. I wish I hadn't fixed a page already, because I copied the whole page and shrank things to fit 2550 X 3300. I should have just pulled a new cutter friendly template and paste the parts that I know are the correct size into it. Oops.
And I better do it now while I'm thinking about it.

A bit late to the show, but I discovered this a couple of minutes ago: El West SaloonMaybe this is still of use for you. Greetings, Zephalo

Lunch didn't finish this up, but close. All the pages are the correct size again, and parts are the correct size. Got the main roof done, but the upper side walls are still 'in process'. I should be able to finish them up tonight and print. Maybe build over lunch tomorrow before heading out of town. Maybe tonight, if I feel confident. I'd like to see this done. BTW, if anyone was wondering how I am going to handle the hanging oil lights, I'm ignoring them.

I think I might have to add another board on the store front. If everything works out perfectly, the peak of the roof will be even with the top of the store front. If not, it will be higher. Once I build it, I should be in a better position to decide if another board would be preferable. And I'm printing

Last night's photos were thrown together. A lot of stuff that should be glued, isn't glued. And that's to the good.
Calico, the feral cat, wanted out badly at 2:11 AM, and when I walked past the Saloon, I was wondering what kind of retrofit I could do to have this mostly-built model look more like the final version.
On the front, my choices are to cut off the section above the roof line and then glue on the new section above the roof line. I think that would have too much potential error.
So I think I am going to do an overlay from the porch roof up. I'll have to shim the area above the old parts with scrap card, but that shouldn't be too difficult.
Since I didn't glue the upstairs to the floor/roof piece, I can print up a new one. And since the main roof isn't glued, I can print off a new one. I think I have an idea for formers for the roof, so that it will maintain the correct shape, but not affect the floor space.
I don't think this will be finished over lunch...
EDIT--
And I still need to do bases for the figures...

Actually, the changes were pretty easy thanks to some of my work pages I still have, the hardest part being to install extra boards to increase the height of the false front, but that wasn't really that hard. I noticed my upstairs side walls are trying to bow a little, so I added a tab to the tops of the inner walls while adjusting files. EDIT -- And the New Parts fit on one page. I'm a little surprised. Since I am going to be going out of town for the weekend (pruning the orchard at the folks), I won't be closing the Hoard out until Monday night at the earliest. So, if you have things you are working on, there's a bit more time. If anyone needs more time than that, let us know. EDIT # 2 -- Those porch supports are too thin to turn into square posts, but if you cut off the tabs, they can be wrapped around toothpicks, then cut the ends of the toothpicks off

I forgot to put the stairs backer piece on the sheet of new parts. I will add it to the figure bases page so I can get final photos

Printed off the bases page -- seven 25mm floor bases, one almost 30mm floor base and a base for the hitching post.

I really wish I'd had the time to change this up a bit. As it is, you can't take a good photo of the Saloon area (the walls are too tall). I wish I'd had the time to do the Jewelry Box idea, where the upper floor and Saloon floor would be drawers that pull out. And each would have had one wall that could be lowered for better access. I had an idea on my way home last night that I also don't have time for. I was thinking Donut boxes, where they have the flaps that slide in between the inner and outer walls of the box. If the windowed side of the Saloon was done that way, where the wall would be like the donut box lid, the soffito could have a lip that locks over my T-shaped supports inside.
But it is too late now...
