Hey Dave!! I have recently been going through and reorganizing and working on my Darkfast Dungeon sets in anticipation of running the Roleplaying game soon. I was wondering when we might see some more of the kickstarter items to round it out! Also, Pics of storage. Putting the figs and the cards together really helps keep it sorted!   |

The Wilderness set just needs cards now. Hopefully I can get that out soon. I'm also gathering adventure minis and maps and writing up the scenarios. My hope is that these items will be out together. I was thrown a curveball going out on rotating strikes and teaching new courses this semester. It's been a bit more demanding than I had expected.

OK, so for full disclosure this is my weekend:
1. Finish Extrastellar Sets from the Patreon (Saturday)
2. Finish and Package the Map sets for Sinister Cities (Sunday)
3. FInish and Package the Sinister Cities Buildings sets (Monday)
My week looks sort of like:
1. DFD Wilderness set finish and package.
2. Work at finishing the writing for the two Gear Books for Save the Day.
I'm also striking again on Friday on a province-wide strike.

It's a fairly well-supported strike. Parents and community members have been dropping off treats and supporting us. It's nice.

Hey bro! Just checking to see when we might see some of the outstanding items from the Darkfast dungeons kickstarter. (Wilderness set, 2 adventures, character cards for figure sets)Really looking forward to them! The teasers of the wilderness stuff were awesome. I know stuff got pretty squiffy because of the pandemic and the lockdown and all of the headaches related to that so no worries, but you're still pumping out 2 sets of minis a month on the patreon so I thought I'd ask as its going on 7 years now. Thanks and I cant wait to see whats next!

I agree about the squiffy. The Wilderness set is pretty much done. The plan was (and tentatively still is) to get it out this year. I think that's still possible. The Adventures were going to be books (2 of 3 were released), but I think based on feedback that people didn't want that, they wanted material more like the original game. So, it took me back a bit and I've been organizing things a bit. I hope to have the three adventures together just after the Wilderness set. The Cosmic character cards need editing, but they are done and I've playtested them. The fantasy cards ended up being the bestiary in the RPG rulebook. If I can get these formatted they should start appearing this year as well (I'm hoping I can organize them over the Christmas holidays as we won't be traveling).
It's fun and it's one of my favourite things I've done, but boy, I bit off more than I can chew there.

Yeah, this seems to have been a bit of a theme for the period, as it was around the same time Lord ZseZse Works ran their Elven Tower papercrafting KS too, which ultimately ran into excessive production problems, and never got fully finished. That pretty much led to the break-up of their company though, so at least you're still going okumarts! Maybe we all just got a bit too carried away with the whole papercraft KS idea back then? |

I have booked off some time next week (after our midterms are done) to clean up some of the wilderness work and get that out around the 26th. I'm aiming to make sure the Cosmic (Retrospace) cards are released before the 30th. I want to then get the Samurai (Serene Fist) and Western (Whiplash Trigger) sets out early in January. That's a start. I made myself a checklist and I intend of plowing through it this winter.  I decided to go with 6 x 6 tiles. This essentially much bigger the 4x4 of the basic game, making Wilderness encounters more dynamic and filling more table space. I have a modded rules set that allows for a dungeon crawl type experience but in the wilderness. I could see it being fun for a GM lite or No GM version of the RPG as well.  |

People down here cant seem to act responsibly where the pandemic is concerned. They claim having to wear a mask is oppression. They must not have grown up in the 70's or earlier then. When I was a kid the KKK was still allowed to march in the Christmas parade here. People are really dumb sometimes.  |

The population here is extremely DENSE and travel in herds without masks. 41000 new cases the week after thanksgiving and record deaths everyday this last week. Tennessee is not the place to be. |

Some of the Wilderness assests have required a bit more work, but I am working on them. I'm glad the Garafrax minis were enjoyed. I really like that setting.
