It is a somewhat problematic design because the slider hangs out so far at either one, or both ends, and it doesn't give the month name.
I found various perpetual calendar styles online quite quickly, including a couple of cylindrical versions, like this one on Amazon and this form on Ebay (there are a lot similar to this), if you're hunting for ideas.
