Saw this while I was perusing old link sites and thought it might be the start of a good idea. Either using the concept directly, or I was thinking of making the calendar cylindrical and rotating inside something else cylindrical. If I do that, I will also want to make a 'Month' slider. Hmmm This was from 2008, and I hadn't seen anything like it before, so it either isn't very popular, or wasn't marketed well

It is a somewhat problematic design because the slider hangs out so far at either one, or both ends, and it doesn't give the month name. I found various perpetual calendar styles online quite quickly, including a couple of cylindrical versions, like this one on Amazon and this form on Ebay (there are a lot similar to this), if you're hunting for ideas.

Lack of months, to me at least, isn't a problem. I usually know what month it is, it's they day/date I need reminding.
