I thought it might be fun to release a bunch of random(ish) textures ...and see what folks can do with them.
So ...here's the idea:
(and HERE is the file) Let the madness begin!

Finished... ...well, almost finished. I was intending on having the whole thing sit atop a large room tile ...but I'm running low on cardboard :S

Without kidding, it's a great looking dungeon prison! kris, it's the first time that I see your youtube videos and I have to say I love them! Thank you very much for a great entertainment. Best regards, Andreas

Glad you like them. I'm not the best at the whole youtube thing (my first videos were horrible, and in some of the videos I was having mic issues so I'm speaking really loudly into the microphone in order to be heard) ...but I think I'm slowly getting better at it (or at least I hope I am ...that's what I'm telling myself at any rate ).

This is my CC1 project. By re-imagining the textures, (The blue carpet at water, etc), I made a dock on a beach. I have a encounter already in mind and I needed a dock for it.

As the party enters the room they notice the door has been ripped from the frame. It lies on the floor and can be used as a seesaw like in a certain pirate movie. The floor is collapsing, with reeds growing from the cracks, and someone has built a causeway to the other side. At the far end of the room is a glowing pool that has created a steam that flows into a sewer. Ps. The door is sealed and that chest wasn't a chest.

The "Duckblinds" are scatter terrain. They can hide monsters, or pottery with funny markings. A corpse to search. Or a healing potion.

I used the competition textures and the Print & Paste Dungeon textures: Special Doorways. Nice Work.
It's going to be great seeing folk's comments on all of these when the video* goes live
(*I'll probably start piecing it together later today ...or maybe tomorrow)

The thing that really amazed me is the creative use of the textures: wood became dired plants or sand, carpets became water. Nice!
