After finding out that my camera and microphone are 'not accessible' on my laptop during the Zoom session Friday, and trying to find the right combination of props to keep my phone propped, I decided I needed a stand. I decided to use the top one from his phone stand page, www.visualspicer.com/happy-phone.html . Even though the photos show it to be green, it is actually a blank two-page template, so I took my SWAT Ebbles texture and changed it from blue to red and lightened it a tad, and then the textured metal floor texture was used for contrast.

The VisualSpicer stand is super solid, but now that I am doing more virtual meetings, I found I needed to have my phone on the charger because Zoom seems to eat up a lot of battery life. Saw this one on Mauther's blog, papermau.blogspot.com/2012/10/calendar-of-month-club-paper-toy_31.htmlIt has room for the power cord, so I built it. I've been a little paralyzed in the hobby since I heard of shep's passing, so I needed to do something quick that looks good and serves a function.

I think there has been a little more of that than anyone cares to admit. I keep trying to prep the Bragosso for entry in Papercuts and I just close it out before getting anything done. And it isn't like he was my game night buddy or someone who I talk to on the phone every other week, but he seemed to take an honest interest in everyone's projects and in everyone personally, too. And now I am seeing that it wasn't just here. That's just the way he was in life. I feel like I got T-boned by a feed truck while riding my bike.
When I lose people, I have always spent some time remembering and treasuring memories. Mom says I twist the knife... . But it isn't working this time.
I don't know what all is going on in your life, but know that we all are wishing you the best

I'd love to build this (or something like it) for my daughter as she has lots of zoom classes these days. Unfortunately I can't find the model links.

In the designer's remarks about it, he recommended reinforcing the bottom part and adding weight if necessary, but I don't have a problem with that, but if I decide to do another one, I would reinforce the part that the phone rests against. The little doo-dads that stick out are starting to curl
