BTW I like the Fantasy Romans idea very much!

Actually once upon a time (having in mind, among others, Harry Turtledove's The Videssos novel series - "The misplaced Legion" etc.) I had an idea - a fantasy set of Undead Legionaries.

Although in my mind they were not the good ones, well organized Romans - but the corrupted, who changed during the transfer in time or between dimensions.
But at the end this idea hit the "to be continued" shelf.

Then I also had other ideas / approaches with Roman legionaries - and one of them was already presented (and some part of it was even submitted for some CWF Hoard) here on this forum (Futuristic cyber-legionaries).
