When I was first thinking of this, I was reminded of an office building along I-435 (and frankly the LV 426 structures). The roof being more of a frame and the foundation being more of a frame, with the main building, windows, doors, etc. being a simple four-sided piece held square by the frames top and bottom. Then I saw this guy and I got a bit side-tracked papermau.blogspot.com/2015/03/mass-effect-bunker-paper-model-for.htmlI still picture this as having top and bottom frames, but I really like the faceted/round corners

Well, my world keeps going more topsy-turvy.
Some of you know that my position with my main job ended in April. Being one of 42 let go doesn't help that much. External Wholesaler position was eliminated.
Some of you know that I have been having to help my folks out more and more.
Now, Mom is having back surgery Thursday, and she will be in a nursing home recovering for two weeks, and she has a pretty substantial list of things I need to make sure gets done because Dad is getting more forgetful all the time.
I'm afraid that creative projects are going to be few and far between for some time. This little fellow has been shelved. Sorry

Thank you, sir. And they still haven't let Mom know what time her surgery is set for in the morning.
Just a little more craziness to pile onto everything else.

Mom's surgery went well. I brought her home Saturday late afternoon. I wouldn't say that she is moving any better (yet) after the surgery, but the pain is gone. She has exercises to do to build up her strength. No BLT (Bending, Lifting, Twisting). Found out she was using her walker wrong, and it is really difficult to get her to consistently use it properly.
No pain is a good thing, and since she has no pain, hopefully we can get her strength up so that she can have better posture to prevent further damage. But things are looking up
