I finally did it. I have something to share aside from pics and cut files. I have been learning a lot in gimp, not so much new things, but new ways to use what I know (and also some new things). So these are, as the title says, sci fi boxes. Structures are fine and necessary, but are mostly things to put stuff on and around. As some of you may have noted from my paper cuts entries I like props, bits, extras, scenery enhancers, ect... So I made some. These are just simple boxes you can add to buildings, walls, other props, or whatever you want really. Some examples. These were tests. I will post more pics when I get the whole page cut out. The top 16 are the boxes and the bottom four are inverted boxes. I don't think inverted is the best way to describe them, but if you look at the pic I think you'll know what I mean. Here is the jpg. ... and here is the drop box with jpg, cutfiles, and blank .xcf template for any one who wants to make something specific, or better yet make a bunch and share them (wink, wink ,nudge, nudge, know what I mean). www.dropbox.com/sh/ut5haky93f04grk/AAD9aBs4S-d8rFJtHCBFIKW5a?dl=0Made with textures from Texture.com, Phillip Klevestav, Inception8 on deviant art, textures4photoshop.com, and bit taken from random pictures, all modded by me. All free stuff under creative commons or permission by the artist on their site to modify and share.

I'm not sure if I did the drop box thing right. Could somebody let me know if it works for other people.

Thanks squirmydad (wow that was a quick reply). I should amend that these are very small, but despite my stumpy, curved fingers, I found them to be relatively easy to assemble. Glue lengthwise then just glue down the two remaining sides.
